Carvel is a delightful gem known for its friendly staff and delicious ice cream, especially the hot fudge sundae. Customers praise the exceptional customer service, with one sharing a heartwarming experience of a cake order gone wrong but handled with care and dedication by the staff. The soft serve ice cream is highly recommended, described as creamy and almost like whipped cream, with vanilla that stands out on its own. Many customers enjoy their ice cream cakes, noting that while options can be limited to vanilla and chocolate, the cakes are well-made with nice toppings like chocolate glaze. The store is very clean, and the staff is helpful, especially when placing last-minute or custom orders. Customers also appreciate the large portions and the overall friendly atmosphere. Whether stopping by for a soft serve cone, picking up a cake, or ordering a special treat, Carvel in Vero Beach continues to offer tasty desserts coupled with top-notch service.
