My family and I have had so many amazing meals at Italian Grill. Biggest issue is consistency (or I should say, lack of…) most recently we did a takeout order of dishes we often order when we dine in. The portions were significantly smaller! It was quite disappointing to still pay $25 per entree and have so little food! We always end up with leftovers and there wasn’t a chance of that happening. I get the cost of things is going up, but don’t short change your orders and keep the prices high….

We’ve been here multiple times I brought a friend who lives from out of town and I raved about the place and it’s food. We walked in and were seated shortly after. Sat there for about 20 minutes without a single hello not even a glass of water completely ignored no one ever came to our table so we got up and left. Super Disappointed the servers were in the back arms crossed chitchatting, and it wasn’t even like it was busy. There was only a total maybe five tables in the restaurant, including us.

Good quality Italian American food. Not New York good, but it is Vero Beach so it's a good option for the area. Appies are uninspiring. Entrees are good quality and big in size. Desserts are meh. Environment a little dark and could use some brightening or spark, and it's in a strip mall (but everything is that way in Vero). It appears they count on an established crowd that knows the place and cuisine; they aren't trying to capture new market. Lots of older big families dining in groups. So it is what it is, not a place for a romantic date night. Price point is as expected $25/main. Weekends are busy so service could be spotty and it was for me, maybe just that Sunday night. I would return there. Nothing wrong with the place. I liked the flavour of the food.

We are local residents, coming to the Italian Grill for about five years. Often thought it might be the best restaurant in Vero Beach until Friday, September 5, a shocking and sad surprise. I ordered the Florentine salmon with white cherry sauce and spinach, it was a great dish could not be better, loved it. So we came back the very next night September 6. I ordered the same dish, when it arrived the sauce was not white, what there was of it was gray. The salmon tasted like close to being spoiled, that unpleasant fishy taste. The sauce was so hot with pepper it burnt my throat. The whole thing was terrible I sent it back. In the past I had great veal dishes so I ordered veal piccata. The veal was dry and tasteless, the sauce with mushrooms had some terrible taste I can describe only as pepper and vinegar, my wife tasted only 1/2 a tablespoon of that sauce, and her throat burned until 930 at night. it is quite obvious they were serving leftovers from the day before, sort of jazzed up with tenable spacing, unbelievable for this restaurant. Where's management?? A chef knows exactly what he is serving and they know what they did. Leftovers, no question about it, and terribly camouflaged as I have described

I spent my birthday there for dinner and it was great. The food was good. The place was filled with laughter and families enjoying themselves. Plus, the prices were reasonable. I'll go again

We order cannoli's on a regular basis because we love them from the Italian grill. We go to the restaurant for special occasions, birthdays, anniversary and when family comes to visit. We have been going to the Italian grill for 10 years. We picked up 2 cannoli's today and we I got home put them in the refrigerator and was so disappointed with how small they were. This is why I'm sending a review. We never had a bad meal here and to see how these cannolis changed. So upset that they were not the same as we have been getting over the years. Cynthia P

The season is on & the restaurant is packed with tourist & locals alike. The decor is busy & nostalgic with many family photos on the wall. Thankyou for a predictable, tasty Italian supper with my family. The buzz is to enjoy true cooked and authentic flavored ethnic foods. I love the creamy garlic salad dressing and the fresh ovened bread with my salad. The service by ELLEN was the best! My chicken Messina was spot on and arrived in eye pleasing appeal. The chicken and the sauteed noodles combined for an amazing taste. The economy has elevated pricing across the entire menu. Marsha had the Seafood "Pescatore" featuring shrimp, scallops, mussels, clams and calamari sautéed with garlic, olive oil and Italian seasonings with white sauce over linguini pasta. My son Sean had the Grilled "Mediterranean" - Chicken, Shrimp and Italian sausage seasoned and grilled with red and green peppers and onions and served over skillet linguini. All 3 meals were excellent and satisfying as was the hearty creamy garlic salad. The compliment to our meal was the service. It was efficient& our server was very personable and made the seamless service feel commonplace. We eat here pften and have always felt entertained and fed true Italian dishes. We love the ambiance of the Italian grill as our local "Go To' restaurant. Amazing that the owners are their every night to welcome you the pampered customer. Always best regards, fromang
