I’ve been visiting Vero Beach since the ’90s, and The Italian Kitchen was a staple on every trip. Now that I live here full-time, I’m happy to call it our go-to spot for pizza and all things Italian. Their Sicilian pie, eggplant, chicken parm… everything is delicious! I haven’t found another Italian restaurant that compares. The customer service is outstanding, and I feel right at home every time I walk through the door. If you’re looking for an Italian restaurant that reminds you of Grandma’s kitchen, this is the place to go!

The food is absolutely great when you can get a table, that’s not being held for six or more people. THREE TIMES WE HAVE WALKED AWAY!!! Two sets of table seating six more just sitting there. Could easily pull two of the tables apart to seat people who are waiting to eat,but NOOOOO ! Quite frankly that is bullshit. Will not be bothering ever again!!!

This place is amazing. I normally go during lunch and get a fast sandwich to go but since I got out of work early I decided to eat in. The waitress was friendly and sweet the place as always clean and comfortable. Not crowded and loud like other places I have visited. I have always wanted to try out the rigatoni Ala vodka. I was amazed. The portion was more than I could imagine. For it being 4 o'clock my food was amazingly quick. The soup was very tasty and the rigatoni was delicious. Neat and still steaming. The staff was respectful and seemed to be bored. The only thing that was odd was watching them talk and draw on a wooden board. Guess to much time on there hands. But all in all everything was perfect. I would definitely recommend this place if your ever in the downtown area.

Well I have to say I went there last week and to my surprise this little restaurant was so cozy and cute. Clean and relaxing environment. Not very busy though something about it but the wait staff was quick to let us sit. She was respectful and courteous and patient. She introduced her self and I believe her name was Jessica. I decided to get a chicken Marcella and my friend got a fatboy cheesesteak my plate was very neat and presentable and the food was great. I especially loved the soup black beans and ham. I have visited the establishment several times in the past few years and have noticed that the food is getting better. I believe it was a Monday or Tuesday 5 or 6 and again the place was pretty slow. The food was great. The knots were little over cooked but still good. The cheese steak was incredible. Cooked perfectly and was quite cheeses. I come every holiday and I love to visit this little place in the heart of downtown. I been visiting now about 5 yrs and have definitely noticed that on the weekend I can definitely tell the difference in the food. If you want to visit here begin of til mid week is best to visit. Better quality and more care.

I went there with my granddaughter and the place was clean and cozy. The waitress was very nice and friendly. Very hospitable. I had the lasagna and my granddaughter had the pizza close to real NY pizza. Service was surprisingly quick and food was fantastic I will definitely try it again

Best Italian food and pizza in Vero. We've been going for 20+ years and it's ALWAYS good. We just had them cater a huge party for us and everyone there raved about the food. The staff is excellent and always on it. You won't be disappointed!

From the moment you step inside, you're enveloped in the warm, inviting aroma of garlic, herbs, and simmering tomato sauce. This isn't just another Italian restaurant. The pasta is perfectly al dente, the sauces are rich with flavor, the chicken hand-breaded! The service is impeccable, with attentive staff who make you feel like family. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply craving an authentic Italian meal, I'd definitely recommend them!! This kitchen is a must-visit!!

We had such a great experience at Italian Kitchen! The food was excellent — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Our waitress, Kristina, was absolutely wonderful — attentive, friendly, and so patient. We were a group of five moms with babies, and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. They made everything feel easy and seamless, which is no small feat. Highly recommend for both the food and the service!

I do not know their atmosphere so I gave it 5 stars in fairness. I door dash from there and we always get the vodka sauce. Every time it’s an obstacle to get extra sauce. When pasta is not served immediately it dries out. They give you no options for extra sauce so I ask the dasher to ask for some on the side and each time they say it has to be ordered by the customer because there is a charge. I’d be happy to pay the 50 cent extra charge or whatever it is but there is no option. Apparently they can’t exactly comprehend that . I’m actually curious what there charge would be if it was an option but to not even realize or care every time… goodbye Italian kitchen. No one likes dry pasta. For 5 cents you couldn’t put a mini condiment container of sauce scrapings from the pot/pan.
