Most of the time we eat in the restaurant and generally have a great experience. However, I am sick so my husband ordered food to go, and it was very disappointing. I usually always get the Mirabelle, and as you can see from the photo, it was certainly lacking. Needless to say given tonight‘s circumstances, I will not order to go from kilted mermaid again. To go service was a big disappointment.

I would definitely come back here, the atmosphere is very pleasant. The food was good, I had the lentils and I liked them, and they had a few specials that were not on the menu.

Awesome, unexpectedly cool and eclectic space in Vero. Saw a fantastic blues band, had amazing local beers, well-presented charcuterie plate, and an outstanding chicken curry pot pie.
Service was great too, but the winning aspect was definitely the ambiance. Not a Trump sign in sight, a pleasant rarity in this neck of the woods.

Very cool place. And the service was great! We had 4 different servers come to our table more than once. The food was delicious too. We had the cheese founde with veggies and a side of steak. The steak was amazing i could taste it was grass fed.
Our first time here. But i know it will ba a regular hangout.

Our darling niece brought us to the Kilted Mermaid when we were visiting Vero Beach and we are so glad! This sassy place is funky cool with fabulous service and excellent food. Definitely a gem!! We will be back the next time we are in town. Thanks for a great night!

We LOVED The Kilted Mermaid! It was such a fun night. We drove for almost 2 hours to get there and we were not disappointed. The decor is outstanding! Lots of pretty lighting and a very cool vibe. We were seated in the patio area next to a big window where we could still see the entertainment. It was Drag Bingo night and it was a blast! Our servers were all very attentive with just the right amount of sass. We enjoyed our food and drinks. Our party ordered both cheese and chocolate fondue, steak sandwiches, shepherd's pie, and a Kilted salad. Everything was fresh and delicious. I will return to the Kilted Mermaid as often as possible as there were several different types of fondue and other menu items we were interested in, and the entertainment and staff made it such a super fantastic experience! It's the most fun you can have in Vero Beach, imo! 💜🧜♀️🧜♂️
Vegetarian options: There are several options for vegetarians. For instance, The Kilted Salad I had was vegetarian/vegan, and there are several fondue choices that a vegetarian would be happy with.
Parking: There is a parking lot of a business nearby that was not open at night where we parked for free. We did not have any problems there and there weren't any no parking signs.
Kid-friendliness: We did not bring the kids. It's a bar and restaurant, and I definitely think OUR kids would be ok, but it isn't really a place that is kid-friendly specifically. I would check it out for for yourself and decide.
