I no longer live in Vero but …Today I had a rare layover in Melbourne, so I rented a car, drove to my hometown and drove straight to Casey’s for lunch! It was, Amazing as ALWAYS! “My favorite restaurant in Vero. The sushi is always super fresh and delicious. The service is fantastic, everyone is super nice and attentive. The saigon roll is amazing, as well as the sushi bomb roll. Vero is lucky to have such an amazing sushi place!“

“I have been twice and so far, food has been delicious and reasonable in price. It is a very homey diner place without all the fancy shmancy stuff but all the flavor. The eggs Benedict, sausage and biscuits were yummy. The pecan waffle and home fries were crispy and great! Peanut butter pie? To die for!!! Definitely recommend a try!“

“My husband and I made reservations for Thanksgiving Dinner, weeks ago, for Chez Frenchie's. We weren't sure what restaurants were open for Thanksgiving so we reserved the first place we called. BIG MISTAKE! When we got there and were seated, we sat at our table for a half an hour and NOBODY came to our table, not even for water!!! Servers passed by our table and we were completely ignored. So, I got my phone out and called next door to Trattoria Dario Restaurant and asked them if they had any available tables, seeing that it was Thanksgiving, and the hostess there said yes and that they could seat us immediately. So my husband and I got up and left Chez Frenchie's and walked over to Trattoria Dario Restaurant. We should have made our reservation at Trattoria Dario's instead, but we didn't know they were open. We got there and we were seated immediately. We had Taylor R. as our server and she was amazing!!! We were served immediately. The food was absolutely amazing!!! We ordered two Beef Carpaccio for appetizers, and I also had a side Caesar Salad. For dinner my husband had the Bone In Veal Chop with Mashed Potatoes and Brussel Sprouts, and I had the Paccheri Aragosta which is usually Shrimp and Lobster with Pacheri Pasta with a sherry wine pink cream sauce with peas, but I asked if they could specially make it with linguini pasta instead and with a garlic butter sauce with no peas. I felt a little uncomfortable asking for a dish to be made differently, seeing that it was a holiday, but they made it for me no problem. I'm so happy this unfortunate mishap happened with Chez Frenchie's because Trattoria Dario was incredible and our server Taylor R. was amazing!!! We definitely will be returning!!!!“

“Polo Grill is our go to in Vero Beach. Outstanding steaks, incredible chops. Corey was our waiter and he was fantastic. Smoked old fashioned and lemon drop martini were spot on. “We stayed in a nearby hotel and my daughter and I walked down for pizza a couple of times during our stay. It is a very cute little pizzeria. The laidback, single room ambiance reminded me of lots of the pizza joints I went to as a kid, before the franchises took over. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We ate inside, hung out, and enjoyed a lazy dinner. I recommend the Stromboli. If we were locals, we would definitely be regulars.“

“This place was really good! My boyfriend and I were pleasantly surprised considering the place from the outside looks totally abandoned. I had been wanting to go here for yearssss and when we showed up, I was like, omg, they're out of business! But no, they were very much ready to rumble! The inside of the building is very nice though. There were little elephants on our table. We only got sushi and for all that we got, it was $30 total. It was filling and very good!

Our server didn't check on us too much but thats okay. We will definitely be coming back!

“It's a little store, tight and questionable. Thought it was a restaurant. I read reviews and wondered if I made a mistake when I arrived. I just ordered 1 steak tex mex taco to start with. Got a red & green sauce with it. You order, pay at register and wait outside to be called to window. You see mainly work trucks and men there. I was with my husband so I felt, "ok". Mostly Spanish/Mexican, not many blacks at all. Ate it on the ride home, about 2 mins away I told my hubby to turn around so I can order 6 more. They were good. Got the burrito later in the week, nahhhh, I'll stick with the tacos. Maybe I'll try a tostada one day but I tend to stick with sure things when I eat??‍♀️. My hubby loves them too.“

“We absolutely love Fujiyama. We found them a couple years ago. Unfortunately, we don't live in the area, but every time we are in the vicinity, we make sure to stop.
Today we went 20 minutes out of our way to have lunch. This may sound wrong, but we love their crab rangoons and General Gso chicken. Their hibachi and sushi are delicious too.
The service is always perfect.

“My wife and I (Beth) had our Anniversary dinner at Vero Prime Restaurant in Vero Beach. The service was absolutely incredible, she greeted us right away, very pleasant and extremely attentive, we started with the lamb pops for an appetizer along with the delicious Artichoke Hearts...the timing was perfect as we needed to catch a play at Riverside Theater that night. My wife ordered the Chicken Avavzare and I had the Ribeye Steak. Both were prepared to perfection. Our server Elizabeth suggested a great pairing wine to compliment our meal. Our experience was beyond our expectation as we are true foodies. I highly recommend Vero Prime for any occasion and we look forward to returning. “We had Easter lunch for 5. First, table was ready on time. We had a beautiful ocean view tucked in a corner with a refreshing breeze. Our waitress was very busy but efficient and checked back often. Lunch was very good. I'm not sure if we had the regular menu or a special holiday one. We had 2 appetizers of fried pickles and truffle fries. Both were very good. Lunches were 2 smash burgers (great), salmon salad, crab cake and a steak dinner. They were out of the hanger steak but the strip steak with chimicheri was cooked perfectly and very flavorful! Started with A round of cocktails and mocktails and ended with key lime pie - all perfect. Prices weren't ridiculous but it was not a cheap lunch by any means. Very pleased with overall lunch!“
