We had butterfinger shakes. It took so long to get our shakes that I thought the shake maker had gone on his break??? But when we finally got the shakes they were delicious! There were several tables that needed to be cleaned but I think they were short on help.

It is Saturday March 28th I believe and we stopped at the Vero Beach steak and shake in Vero Beach right off interstate 95 we walked up to go in the door and there was so much trash and debris it was so unsanitary looking that we just turned around and went to another restaurant to have lunch. There was no business at lunch time and someone could have clearly came out and picked up the trash and yard debris. We figured if it was nasty out front it must be nasty in the kitchen so let's not take a chance traveling and eating at this place

I'm not sure about the food. I have been in the drive thru for over 30 minutes. This is absolutely crazy. Sad thing is they won't do anything about this. IVE BEEN IN THE DRIVE-THRU FOR OVER 30

Waited over 20 mins for 2 burgers. The cook brought our food to the table, we thought he was a crackhead who wandered in at first. The place was filthy inside. The food was barely warm. We would not recommend this place.

My family loves steak and shake. We go to one whenever we see one in another city but the one in Vero Beach Florida has a young woman who definitely does not enjoy her job. All night long while we were there she was spouting quote, " we have no shakes" with the sound of discern in her voice. Also, she would not allow anyone to sit in the inner dining room area as she said she was cleaning it but we never saw her clean anything. The workers who prepared the food are awesome and so polite and pleasant so when we get someone with a poor attitude on the job, it makes me not want to frequent this restaurant. I hope if she's unhappy she will find some other form of employment.

Pretty much like every Steak N Shake I've been to. Good food, good prices, good staff.
On the last visit, it took 24 minutes to get out food. Not great.

I see why this location has so many signs letting you know they are open for business. People probably don't come here based upon the REALLY poor customer service. How are not one, but TWO workers going to tell a client they aren't doing shakes because they are cleaning the machine a whole hour and a half before closing??? One had the nerve to tell me when it is slow they start doing closing duties. I get that, but there are counters to clean, floors to mop and so many other "closing duties" to work on rather than doing the duty that makes it be you can't provide something that is in your NAME. And the condescending attitude she had when I simply asked how long to wait before a shake can be made after cleaning? Ridiculous. I took my business elsewhere. Management needs to retrain the team on what good, not even great, customer service is or let some people go.

I visited this place for my lunch break and waited 25 minutes for my order. When I inquired about it, the staff still hadn't prepared it. they also could not find my order ticket.I had to leave for work without receiving my order, ultimately losing $10. The service was terrible, and the cleanliness of the establishment was unacceptable. I do not recommend dining here.

Ordered milkshakes that were not even close to a full cup, there was excessive noise from the grill area including a small meltdown by the cook and since it was a kiosk-only establishment, actual customer service was limited to delivering the order. One of the kiosks was closed. The flavor of the shakes was average at best. This was my last visit to this location.

My wife loves this store, my only drawback that the burger was slaty. And no one was around to talk to. I'm not sure where they went.

Ordered two burgers one way, got a single burger a totally different way. Receipt showed my correct order. What's the point of even ordering if you're just going to give me whatever you feel like. Also waited 10 minutes in drive through with no other cars.
