We were hungry and needed lunch. We like trying places that are not the typical tourist hangouts. First thing we noticed was the baseball and football teams with their standings. Lots of TV's, but playing country music. The Bbartender greeted us and we ordered the special, a mushroom swiss burger. The burgers were on the small side. Mine was very greasy, but my husband said his was dry. My husband had a pint of beer. It was $3. Our burgers were $7.50. We felt the prices were average....read full review

A group of women who go out for lunch together every Wednesday decided to try What A Tavern. Well, when you walk in,the first thing you see is a large bar. There are two small tables in the front if you don't care to sit at the bar. The bar at lunch time was all men. Our group of 6 women retreated.
