Tropical Smoothie Cafe

I used to enjoy coming to get a smoothie 4x a week. I went in on the 10th and they ran my card 7x charging me $1.25 each time. Then charged full price. Their system was not cooperating. I waited for an hour before I finally left with the smoothies. I left my number for the owner to rectify the 7 $1.25 charges. When we left and treated the Smoothies they tasted like water. We threw them out. I waited 5 days and never heard from the owner. I went in tonight and a treated as though I were stupid for asking for the refund for all of the $1.25 charges and 2 replacement Smoothie. They told me the owner wasn't going to do anything so I got the owner's number. The owner refused to make things right and told me I would have to send my bank statement to corporate and see what they would do. It's not bad enough that I submitted the proof, and waited hours only to receive the original 3 watered down smoothies. I left and went to the other location in town only to find out they're the same owners. Needless to say I will be traveling a little distance to enjoy my smoothies elsewhere. I'll also mention that there have been multiple occasions where I've gone in and the employees were cursing and carrying on and toilet paper trails from the bathrooms. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! THEY CHARGE YOU UNNECESSARY CHARGES AND REFUSE TO REFUND!!! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

12/21 Still haven't received the refund for the money this company stole from me by making me swipe my card 8 times and they weren't willing to give me replacement smoothies for the watered down smoothies. I talked with the owner on the phone. All I got was the automated reply to this review with their fake apology. I guess I will take this complaint to the Better Business Bureau seeing this company isn't willing to give back the money they took from me even after I submitted the proof.

The employees' attitude was terrible; they were swearing in front of us for ordering 10 drinks while furiously doing their job.

We go every day this time of year and this is a greasy mess. Disgusting. Had to bring the drinks back in and have a add more ice and could not finish the wrap because it was just too greasy terrible. Someone owes me a rap.

I usually enjoy Tropical Smoothie, but my recent visit was disappointing. The service was very slow—definitely recommend ordering ahead if you’re in a hurry. I ordered the Detox Island Green smoothie, which I’ve had before and liked, but this time it came with an unexpected ingredient: pieces of plastic. I found several large and small bits of white plastic throughout the drink, which looked like the wrap that comes on kale. It was really off-putting and made me question the quality control. Hoping this was just a one-time slip, but it definitely ruined the experience.

Got my order wrong, worker very happily and quickly fixed it. Great service and sanitation, also high protein food options.

If you’re tryna avoid sugar, don’t go here. Their smoothies are 80% ice and water with non-organic tasteless fruit. Waste of $9. Way over priced. What a scam.

Very disappointed in my visit. It was super unsanitary, took over 35 minutes to get the order after reminding them I was still waiting for my order, they only had 2 staff member’s working and the smoothie was flavorless.

This was the least effective and sanitary Tropical Smoothie Cafe I've ever been to (and I've been to a few! It's a favorite.)

There were two cashiers working and they were going from the cash register to making smoothies without washing their hands. Yuck-o.

Then a line started forming and one of the staff answered a personal call on her cell phone and completely ignored everything else.

Luckily I just picked up my order and left.

The smoothie was ... Fine... But I won't recommend.

Last wrap ordered, hummus wrap. No hummus. Time before that, sausage egg and cheese quesadilla with no egg. Smoothies half blended. Solution: will add more hummus next time. Sure lady.
