He’s there every Thursday thru Saturday and sells the best, authentic, Jamaican jerk(ed) chicken, jerk pork, ribs, escovietch fish, served with a side of Festival (fried cornmeal/flour/sugar), and/or Jamaican harddough bread.If you’ve never had a Jamaican jerked meal, be prepared to handle a very peppery and spicy dish. You’ll need cool water to wash it down.Chef Tally’s spot is very popular. Especially since he’s only open for business on the weekends. It is a food truck and there’s usually a long line of customers waiting to dig into some jerk. So plan for that. It is, however, worth the wait. ❤️

Place has really gone downhill. Not only is the food not as good as it was years ago now every time you go there they never have anything left doesn’t matter if you show up way before they close.

Expect to wait as they are always busy but when you taste their food you will understand why. We got 2 of the triple meat platters both fully stuffed with meats. Everything was great. Will definitely return as well as worth the drive.

Got there early, or so I thought!. 11:10 there were ALREADY at least 25 people in line! But now I see why. The service was EXCELLENT. I got My food in less than 10 minutes... At first I thought that I got the wrong order because there was SO MUCH food on the plate! For under $30 I got 5 bones, 2 1/2 pieces of chicken, and about a pound of pork. I am not from The South Florida area so I have VERY little experience with Jerk but Chef Tally has created a GREAT flavor that needs NO sauce! (Which by the way is delicious!)I didn't try any of the sides or desserts but from what I saw they looked good so next time I will see how they hittin. If you are in the N. Miami, S. Lauderdale area Chef Tally's is a MUST!!!
