Ellie Lou’s is a must stop for the BBQ lover in Disney. The owner is fantastic and the food is delicious!
We had the best experience. We searched for a nearby barbecue place and luckily the first one was closed on Sunday. The next was Ellie Lou’s. We loved it! The food was great and the service was beyond compare! Elisha greeted us when we first walked in and when I asked what to get, it was automatically Sunday grits! Ellie Lou's Brews & BBQ in the Flamingo Crossing area offers excellent barbecue that surprises even picky Carolina natives. The brisket, ribs, pulled pork, and fried green tomatoes are all highly recommended. Visitors particularly enjoy the moist and delicious pulled pork sandwich and the chopped pork plate, along with the outstanding fries and fantastic baked beans. The family-friendly restaurant provides great food, value, and friendly service, feeding a family of three for around $40. The entire staff is awesome, warm, welcoming, and attentive, making for a 10/10 experience. Ribs and sausage are noteworthy staples, and the brisket is considered good for the area. The sides, particularly the mac and cheese and baked beans, are fantastic. This is an absolute diamond of a place with fantastically smoked meats in a simple atmosphere and an amazing draft beer selection. While some guests mention a missing element in the atmosphere or that it was empty inside, the great food keeps them coming back. Only a minor complaint is the difficulty in finding the entrance due to dark tinted windows.
