Kelly's Homemade Ice Cream Counter at Foxtail Coffee

Hello, it would be good if the two tables outside could please be cleaned, as well as the chairs. I sat down and my clothes got dirty, and both tables are dirty. It would also be good if they could be painted, please. I always come to this place, and this is the fourth time I’ve seen them in the same condition.

I love Kelly's Ice Cream so was happy to be able to indulge after a walk in downtown Winter Garden. The location was nice and staff were friendly.

My mother myself and my child walked in after a great morning- daughters first time at movie theater! We were excited to continue our fun morning by having ice cream as a treat.
Unfortunately the service we received put a damper in our mood. We were quickly greeted which as good but the young woman was not very patient as we tried to decide what flavors we would like. She didn't offer samples which I read was an option from other reviews. She didn't smile or seem like she was happy to serve us. I considered going back inside to ask if she was alright because I couldn't understand how someone who is forward facing at a popular business could be that rude and dejected.
The flavors were tasty but I won't be back anytime soon.

This store is a combo with Foxtail coffee co. It's a cute shop. We bought ice cream in waffle cones. Everyone agreed the ice cream was delicious 😋 but on the coffee side, it was weak. For me I wished there were more flavors of ice cream. I believe there were just about a dozen flavors. Service was good 👍.

I bring my kids to Kelly’s at least once a week. I was by myself with my baby and two boys. One of my sons is allergic to milk. His allergies are not that bad, but we always ask to try the dairy-free flavors available so he can make a decision on what flavor to pick. He was not a fan of the dairy-free cookies and cream, so he asked to try one more flavor, which already made the young lady have a bit of an attitude. He, then, asked to try another one and I told him that would be the last one he was trying. He ended up picking a flavor he had not tried today, but a flavor he is already familiar with. My oldest had already picked “cake batter” a couple of minutes earlier, so he said: “cake batter, too”. The young lady understood “two” and made two extra ones. When I explained he meant “also”, she had an attitude again and angrily threw the extra one in the trash. Even though, she was very rude, I felt bad and was trying to give her a high tip to try to help her mood, but instead she didn’t even give me time to sign my purchase on the tablet, pressed “enter” and walked away. Then I saw her and the other young lady looking at each other and I just stood there trying to understand what had just happened. I’ve been young. I know having an attitude is part of being immature, but I would just encourage the owner to work on some customer service.

The ice cream was really good but the staff, very rude and impolite, the two girls were very beautiful and could be not that rude. Awful service!

Kelly’s has a special place in our hearts! We go 2-3x a month. The ice cream is high quality and you get what you pay for. We have too many favorite flavors to list, but I want to personally shout out to any of the monthly flavors that have been dark chocolate based; there is nothing better to cure a bad day than the chocolatiest of chocolates, and this is that! (I’m looking at you cosmic brownie and German chocolate cake!) Here is a roundup of all the locations our family of 5 has tried: Maitland 11/10 - Our favorite location. Always great service from Andy, the freshest waffle cones/bowls, and always has all the flavors in stock. Ample parking and seating indoors and nearby outdoors to suit your fancy. Consistently perfect! Ferncreek 9/10 - The ice cream is great, and the outdoor area is adorable. Parking is a little rough but it’s a historic area and understandable. Horizon West 10/10 - Stellar waffle cones/bowls, special products, and the best indoor seating. Winter Park 7/10 - A little cramped and no indoor seating, but when the weather is nice the outdoor area is cute! Special shout out for the oatmeal creme pie flavor only available here. Waffle bowls tend to be stale. Winter Garden 9/10 - Extremely friendly service and fresh waffle bowls, we just wish it was a standalone for easier access and less crowding. Hunter’s Creek 7/10 - Stale waffle cones and less than fresh ice cream, but we love the ample parking, wide variety, and proximity to our home away from home. Sanford 5/10 - *edit: this location is not run by Kelly’s so they don’t have full control.* The only disappointment we’ve had trying so many locations. Waffle cones so stale you can bend them like rubber, and the unfriendly coffee shop staff manning the ice cream counter unwilling to make fresh cones. Ice cream itself is stale and not at all on trend with the Kelly’s brand and stellar reputation. “Sold out” of multiple flavors, and one case has a broken light and door. Just seems like this location doesn’t get the same TLC as the rest.

The combination of great coffee and fantastic ice cream makes this a must-visit spot in Winter Garden.

Parking: There is plenty of parking in Downtown Winter Garden. There is free parking all up and down Plant Street running through downtown. There is also a parking lot behind the Edgewater hotel and a free parking garage. If there are large events, they open more parking with signage or volunteers to help direct you.

Kid-friendliness: Ice cream is almost always kid friendly unless there is an allergy. The kids will love this location!

Wheelchair accessibility: This location is fully ADA compliant/wheelchair accessible. There is a ramp provided on the side for those who need it.
