Today was my second time here. I ordered the chicken salad on an egg bagel both times and it's delicious. I also got the lunch special for my kids. It's a great deal, with two slices and a drink for $6.99. The best part of our experience today though was when the person preparing our order stepped out of the kitchen to ask me if I wanted him to cut the pizza into little pieces for the kids. He delivered me 2 slices cut into small pieces that made it a million times easier to serve to my little ones without having to saw at hot pizza with a dinky plastic knife. It was a kind and thoughtful gesture that was very appreciated. Everything was delicious!
Kid-friendliness: Lunch special is a great value for kids
We have ordered several pizzas and really loved them until recently - the crust isn’t as good as it was in earlier 2023 - it used to be crisper on the bottom and thinner on the edges. Too much crust throws off the balance.
Best pizza in Winter Garden! The people are always courteous and helpful as well! I eat here as often as I can! Btw… their lunch special is a great deal, so I definitely recommend it. The price in general for pizza is great as well, especially considering how most restaurants around here tend to gouge as far as they can… love love love this place
Was really excited to try this place, a friend recommended & the pictures looked amazing. I’m from CT & have yet to find a NY style bagel that meets par… I ordered a ham and Swiss on an everything bagel. As listed on the menu the sandwich is supposed to come with lettuce, tomato, mayo and mustard. Upon receiving the bagel and opening the wrapper, I quickly realized it was not the thick NY style bagel I’ve been dreaming of. Maybe 3 slices of ham and a slice of Swiss. No lettuce, no tomato. I tried to go back to the counter to address the mistake but there was no one at the front desk, I waited a few moments and sat back down & ate because we were starving!I traveled 30 minutes for this & most likely will never travel for this deli again.Immensely disappointed & did not meet expectations. :(
Great experience, 100% be back! Pizza was thin, but no to thin! Has a Nice crispy crust! The Garlic knots has a nice buttery sauce.
Upon walking in, it smelled like home. There were knish ads everywhere and a counter of fresh bagels, pizza slices, and a selection of cookies that didn't interest me. I asked about the knish first, but I was told that they were not able to get them in, so they were not available. Now, I will say that the ads looked just like the ones you can buy in the freezer section of Publix. Knish should be handmade. I can't judge, as I didn't get to partake, but we'll see next time. Yes, I will be going back.My order: Sausage, egg, and cheese (pepper jack) on a toasted egg everything, with a hashbrown. As we ordered we asked "what are your hashbrowns like" to which the very VERY NY man said "like a McDonalds hashbrown." Bet. Who doesn't want that? If I wanted a bed of shredded potatoes, I'd go to Waffle House. I wasn't looking for that kind of meal this morning, so it was a welcome description. So we ordered and sat down.Someone brought us our food and I was first taken by the amazing smell, but then I noticed that my bagel had bacon instead of sausage. I didn't want to take it back. I like bacon, I just wasn't set for that texture. My brother insisted that I say something, and he took it back up for me. They offered to remake it and told us to keep the other bagel. Just a few minutes later they came out with my new bagel. Again, amazing smell, the perfect toast, and this time sausage. But they used American cheese instead of pepper jack. It's cool. Not a biggy. If there hadn't been cheese options, it would have been American anyway. There is also a rule in my family: You can send food back, but never do it twice. The bagel was toasted perfectly, everything was great. It was exactly what I wanted in flavor and texture. The bagel itself was perfect. I assume they ship their water or their bagels in from NY.The hashbrown? Exactly as described. It came in a tinfoil sheet and was hot and crispy.SUGGESTION: Offer an option for that hashbrown to be ON the bagel sandwich. My brother did it and it was fire. I ate mine while I was waiting for my bagel.I will ABSOLUTELY be coming back. I wish there was another one of these in Mount Dora. I'd be there twice a week at least, until we got another option anyway.BAGELS: I ordered a dozen bagels to go, and I was delighted when he offered to bake them fresh. They didn't have much left in the case, but they had tons of options, so we custom built a dozen and went to Axum coffee while we waited. They were done when we got back and HOT. Price wise... not great. $18.00+ (with tax) for a dozen bagels. I got them anyway and tossed them in my freezer. When I go to South FL, I'll usually come home with 6-7 dozen bagels in the back of my car and my bill is usually around $80.So I guess ultimately, this place just needs to rethink the prices, slow down when reading orders.
I just tried NY Bagel and Deli this morning. I’m from Jersey and was so in the mood for a porkroll, egg, cheese, and potato sandwich. To my surprise they had porkroll. I had it on an egg bagel and it was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!! The bagel was perfect! I haven’t had a breakfast sandwich this good since I’ve moved down here 7 years ago. Super nice folks there and they did such an amazing job with the sandwich, that I sent pictures of it to people back in Jersey bragging about it. I’ll be there regularly now.
As Canadian who loves pizza this the place to ordered from We ordered the large size pizza called Brooklyn style it tastes amazing and the pizza dough is thin crust and crunchy if you like New York style pizza go to NY Bagel Deli and Pizza in Winter Garden in Orlando and enjoy so many variety of food like Pizzas, Sandwiches, Wings and desserts.Love it we will be coming back.
Stopped in for lunch and OMG we finally found authentic NY style pizza!! Everywhere in central FL claims to have NY style, but this place is actually legit! The slices were thin crust big enough to fold, greasy, and full of flavor (the way it should be!!) and the garlic knots were out of this world good!! So refreshing to get a true taste of home! Can’t wait to come back for more!
Great pizza every time we have gone, including this time. If you are from NY and miss lots of the Jewish and Italian foods and desserts, you should check this place out.

Dirty move. This spot has a now hiring sign on their cash register (picture attached). An older woman in line in front of me asked for an application. She was told they just take names and phone numbers, then told by the same cashier that she'd check if they were still hiring as she walked to the back room. Came back in about a minute (with audible laughing in the other room) and said they were no longer hiring. The laughing could have been unrelated, but it really appeared as if they just weren't willing to consider hiring the woman specifically. The lady was flustered and mentioned the sign should really be removed, then. I agree. Or, at least fane taking her information. Bad look on that restaurant. Felt very targeted at that poor woman trying to actually find work.
You would not expect this from looking in but the food is actually really good. Pizza is fire and way better than the folks next door at WGPC. It actually has great undercarriage and the price for the pizza is fair. Plus they all do it by the slice which too me is important because for one person you can actually enjoy the pizza without having to get a whole pie. The Sicilian is banging as it reminds me of a few places in Brooklyn and Queens. The Bacon Egg and Cheese is also very good; I would recommend you ask for the bacon to be cooked a bit more but other than that.. Its amazing. This is the go to spot for pizza in Winter Garden IMO. I've eaten a lot of pizza around Orlando from Winter Garden to Downtown... Lake Mary and beyond.. This is the pizza spot for me. Do not be fooled by the interior I promise the pizza is banging.
Stopped in at NY Bagel while on Plant Street in Winter Garden. It wasn't meal time but I was intrigued that they had house made bialys, bagels and pizza. Yum. I brought home some bialys to try as we normally have to go to Boynton Beach to get excellent bialys. This bialy is the real deal. Perfect. Cut in half toasted with butter. The perfect crunch and chew. Yum. Nice people from Queens too. When I come back for the bagels and pizza, I'm sure I'll change their rating to a 5 star.
Went for coffee and a bagel recently. First time-And the last time! I asked for the bagel with cream cheese, not toasted. The bagel was stale and chewy. The coffee was old and bitter. I asked for a fresh cup and the server wasn’t happy. 20 minutes later I got the second cup, it was fresh but not very tasty. They promote Julius Menil brand…it tasted like Maxwell House.
The service and food is amazing. David is super friendly . We're from New York and the pizza tastes just like home. great service and quality food.
