I was just at the farmers market today, February 15,2025 and had the Maine Wiene sandwich, and it was simply the best.👍🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Food was great had the traditional hot pastrami. It was excellent, right up there with Katz Deli in quality. Top pastrami in winter garden! Cucumber salad was a unique interpretation, very enjoyable.

Got a half Die Behrens with a side of spicy Mac. You really only need to do the half option for the sandwich otherwise the portion is very big and $18! Love the texture and the lingonberry sauce. Great atmosphere with lots of authentic German knickknacks like I used to have growing up!

The ambiance is cozy and inviting, with charming German decor that transports you straight to a quaint village in Bavaria. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to recommend their favorite dishes or share a bit of German culture.

Now, let’s talk about the food – it’s simply outstanding! The bratwurst was perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection, and the sauerkraut had just the right amount of tanginess. I also tried the schnitzel, which was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, served with a side of creamy potato salad that was to die for.

I had the die behrens which is a pork schnitzel on a pretzel roll ($18). The pork schnitzel itself was on the bland side, but the lingonberry sauce helped. The pretzel bun was soft and hot. Portion wise it leaned a little towards the smaller size and overall just ok for an $18 sandwich.

They have bottled German beer for around $5. Although I didn't enjoy my particular sandwich,

One thing I didn't like was the person prepping, although he had gloves on was touching his hat and other things while prepping food. I'm sure other establishments do the same, but hoping that they don't for the sake of customers.

I'd come back and try the other selections like the pastrami on a toasted hoagie which looked good.

The atmosphere is tavern-like with German knickknacks. They have a retro Nintendo with a CRT tv that you can actually play with.

They happened to have an Octoberfest event outside next door in a parking lot area which I did not attend, but one of the staff was inviting and friendly and informed me about it. Maybe next time.

Our new go-to local bar for soccer games ! We just moved up from South FL & have been exploring to find our new favorite places. The service here is A1! Aaron & the Owner are always super attentive and welcoming. Great vibes & great people to just hangout at the bar and catch a game, you will also find some games at the entrance. We tried the sandwich The German and it was perfection ?

Highly recommend! Located a couple blocks off the main strip in Old Winter Garden, the area and the place have plenty of charm. Parking is easy. Living in Orlando, I have dined in all too many of the typical chain/corporate restaurants. This place is locally owned and operated by a guy named Chris, who takes pride in making great food. This is a counter service German deli with huge pretzels, hot sandwiches - and great beer. There are TVs that broadcast soccer matches and friends who get together to watch soccer, eat great food, and enjoy some quality time together. I’ve never been there for Karaoke, but I saw that they have a machine. Although it is relatively small, it is comfortable. The prices are reasonable and the full sandwiches are big enough to share.
