Stopped in for some food. I had the salmon, which was great. Someone was I was with got the garlic chicken and WOW that was even better the chicken was juicy and not dry at all. Someone at my table got the rainbow trout though which smelled horrible and was left untouched. The server apologized profusely and went out of her way to make things right. Plan to definitely give this place another visit sometime soon.
It was very nice
Pretty good range of options price and taste wise plus a Gluten free menu for those that need it. Beer selection was limited, service was excellent.
Had the fish tacos and the fish they had in them was terrible. Had eaten them before and they were good but this time the fish was mushy and tasteless. Old freezer fish is my guess. Waitress was inattentive. Will not be going back.

Went there for a bite took forever to get our food. By the time we got there and left it was 1.5 hrs. I don’t know what happened but tables getting there 30-45 minutes after us were getting there food when we were. Manager walked by took one look at us and evidently could tell we weren’t happy so kept on walking. Food was brought out at different intervals so none of us had food at the same time. Food was just okay nothing special and so many better places to eat around there. Service was horrible. I guess that’s what you get when you sit on the patio and the wait staff is more concerned with people inside?

We went to this restaurant and sat at the bar, because table wait time would put us dangerously close to closing time. Arrived at 19:55 and they close at 21:00. I ordered the trout and my guest ordered pasta. Our orders went in at 20:00. Two other couples came in 5 and 10 minutes after we did ordered and received their food within 20 minutes. They ate and were socializing. Meanwhile the bartender/server was friendly towards them, but showed a definite bias toward us in which my female guest immediately recognized. We should have left then! At 20:45 I found a manager and asked when does it take 45 minutes to get trout and pasta when everyone that came after us had been served? He said food was running 35 minutes. Our food finally came out at 20:56. Four minutes before closing. No apologies no anything. I’m a 56 year old black man and my guest who suggested this place is Dominican. The food was great when it finally arrived, however the stench of bias, racism and indifference was definitely in the air.
Buyer beware do not spend your money in anyplace that doesn’t respect your humanity!
We dined there on the 20th of October 2024.

Just amazing! I went to Urban on Plant on a recommendation for a good burger. It was more than just good!!! Not only was it a generous and juicy hand formed patty, but the toppings were each primo!
And then there are the house-made chips, altogether a number one choice. And as hamburgers go, this beats Dubsdred Tap Room all around!

This was a solid spot and I would definitely recommend to anyone in the Winter Garden area. We stopped in after the Farmers Market because the wait was decent and it was ultimately, a pleasant surprise. We asked for outside seating (the day was beautiful) and received something in a nice shaded area that still received good sunlight towards the side of the building. It was great because that section doesn't get a lot of foot traffic, so it wasn't super chaotic.
The staff was incredibly nice and super attentive. We ordered the Teriyaki Salmon rolls to start and they were phenomenal. Very flavorful and they didn't taste like they were frozen in a freezer. We loved how fresh it felt. For entrees, we ordered the Breakfast Burger and the Shrimp and Grits. The Burger had good flavor and was tasty but just a bit overcooked. The shrimp and grits were incredibly flavorful and super filling! The portions were really good for the price points.
Overall, I would definitely go back and highly recommend!

Food and or waiter was good however I have an issue with the front receptionist. There was an empty table with chairs that sat a larger party of 6 outside in the front of the restaurant. I asked if I and my party of three could have that empty table. Keep in mind, there was a number of larger tables available. The restaurant was not full. After asking, the receptionist said let me check and walked outside to see if it was clean.
The table was clean but I was told we couldn't have that table and we were sat at a smaller table on the side of the restaurant. Why go and check if you're going to come back and tell us we can't have it? What was the point of that?
Then when we were leaving we saw three people sitting at the table we wanted. When I inquired about that she said it was because they had a baby stroller. However, there was other tables that accommodate a baby stroller. There was really no legimate reason we couldn't have sat there.
Also, on a previous visit just I and my girlfriend sat at the very table I requested.

closer to a 4.5 than a 5, but I'm giving 5 stars anyway.. food's not like "..holy cow, this is awesome!!" it's like, "not bad, would try this place again".. our server tom was nice guy.. kinda felt like he's new to serving (confidence or tone? maybe he's the shy type) but he's okay, touched table once or twice.. portions are big enough to share, except for the edemame and the bowl of soup.. otherwise everything kinda felt upsized! (had my food to go)
good place to have friends over for drinks.. parking can be a challenge since it's winter garden, afterall.. i can't recommend anything specific.. it's not like ava where one could spend 400 for lunch! but if you want to get tipsy with class, this place great!

What a great lunch! My family and I enjoyed all of our lunches. Everything here is fresh and high quality. The tuna tacos are chock full of fresh fish. The Bulgogi tacos are tender and tasty. Try the chips, wings, or salads. They are all delicious. The baretender is terrific. Urban on Plant is in a historic building and has lots of historic charm. We've been here more than once and the experience is always the the same. Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere.

I would give all 5's, but the food that came to our table was incorrect, and the fish tacos were full of bones.
