Urban on Plant Kitchen & Bar

Requested outdoor seating in reservation but told we had to sit inside because a party of 18 (wasn’t present) will be seated outside. We ordered appetizer which arrived without plates, sub par food arrived before my beer I ordered when we were seated. Watched manager ask people who were already seated on patio move to other tables. Even saw him bring dishes out of kitchen to wrong tables and take food back to kitchen, ugh , wouldn’t want those plates of food. After eating and waiting forever for our check we noticed half patio was empty and could hear other tables complaining about same situation. Poor management poor service and poor food. Wouldn’t recommend this place. Place should have been hopping for a beautiful evening but guess when not managed right it’s to be expected.

Great selection of shareables, handhelds, and entrees on the menu. We had the bruschetta as an appetizer and it was very good. For entrees my wife had the meatloaf and I had the jambalaya, both were prepared very well and exactly enough portions. We did not have dessert. The server did a very good job and certainly met our expectations.

We made a reservation and specifically requested outdoor seating. To be sure, we even called two hours in advance and were assured it wouldn’t be an issue. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case when we arrived.
The staff seemed overwhelmed, and the overall attitude made it feel like both diners and those waiting were more of a burden than guests. We were initially seated in the front outdoor area, but the setup made it very uncomfortable, one side of the table was directly facing the sun, making it impractical to sit there.
When I went back inside to ask for an alternative, I was told the only other option was seating near the bar, which isn’t ideal when dining with three young children. This was especially disappointing given that we had planned ahead and confirmed our request earlier.
We’ve visited before and returned because the food is consistently decent. However, the lack of accommodation and unwelcoming atmosphere make it hard to justify coming back again.

Urban was the perfect place to stop through Cori was an awesome waitress and took great care of us. The food was quality and quick. Recommend for anyone spending time in Winter Garden

Bartender was lovely. Drinks were ok, ish.
Disappointed in the food. Purchased the Turkey,brie, honey and mustard flatbread.
The dough seemed old. The sauce was it honey and mustard. It was honey mustard. To me that is not the same. Too sweet. Wrong flavor, for me personally.
It was more the taste of the flatbread itself.

Bulgogi tacos were not good :-( too much sauce slopped on top of everything- including the chips. Chips is an odd side pairing for this dish to begin with, and the fact that the sauce is on those too is even weirder. Salmon was very fishy and unseasoned. The seasonal salad was good.

It was my first time dining at Urban on Plant this evening and I will definitely be back! The service was very friendly and professional, the food took an adequate time to arrive, as it must be cooked fresh to order. We had the Nashville Hot Chicken, the Onion Smash Burger and the Truffle Burger. All 3 were delicious! The spice level on the chicken was spot on, and fried perfectly crispy. Go give this place a try and enjoy a stroll around downtown Winter Garden after!

Third time here All excellent food and atmosphere service was slower than expected and some things took longer than should have, others were served faster as our server seemed to disappear frequently and was perhaps spread too thin for her station size.
