“After my wife's surgery follow-up appointment today, she decided on authentic Greek cuisine as her "lollipop" for withstanding more poking & prodding. Curious about how Mykonos/Longwood would stand up to Hellas in Tarpon Springs, we ventured in. Greeted by a smiling employee we were soon seated and looking over the menu. From the time we sat, Morgan our server was excellent. Cheerful, attentive, and very polite, she treated us like we were royalty. Our appetizer was fried zucchini, very good. The rice soup and salad was perfect. When Morgan brought the entrees of lamb chops & pastitsio - we knew we had to order some for the next two days at home! Everything was fantastic. And we didn't have to go to Tarpon Springs! Instead we found our Greek home food, right here in Longwood. Be sure to ask for Morgan! And hats off to the chef!“

“This was a late night run for food. Didn't think nothing of it because I just wanted something to eat. Order the honey lemon pepper wings and dry rub lemon pepper wings. Also had an order of chicken tenders. The food was great, tasted fresh. Fries were crispy and good. Will be returning again.“

“when i first was introduced to this place, i didnt know what to expect…i was scared, nervous, cautious of the new environment. my friend came to my rescue and guided to trying new things. i ordered the Greek Chicken Pita and let me just say, the moment i bit into this piece of gold i ascended into the heavens. it was like my soul was being snatched and i was seeing the light. every bite made me melt away. on top of that the customer service was amazing the manager was really great. #love it here food was mid btw (licked the plate)“

“Great atmosphere and service! The waitress we had is named Jordan and was the best waitress we have ever had. She was super nice and outgoing to make sure we had more than enough. The food was served fast and was super delicious. Jordan gave great recommendation. The hospitality, service, and atmosphere is like no other. I would highly recommend this place.“

“I started going to Athena’s when my son and family first moved to Maitland over 17 years ago. Since 2018 I went there at least once a week. Having to move back to Connecticut, I miss their chicken so much. My grandchildren know when I come to visit that is the first place I stop to eat. Their chicken is always so delicious and moist. I wish they would open a place here ❤️“

“What a delicious afternoon! Such a family feel with the food, the atmosphere & the crew, who make you feel so welcomed. Catching up with a friend, we stayed for hours. I got the gyro platter, the flavors make the taste buds do their happy dance! The portions are very generous, I ended up having the rest of it for dinner and the prices are so helpful, especially during these inflation days. Definitely coming back to enjoy some more!“

“Love this place. Cant say enough good things. They get slammed a lot of times because of rush like any resturant. If you want it fresh and guaranteed good quality good. Go in to the resturant. If you order delivery, can’t blame them for freshness quality. Food is always 10/10 staff is unreal. Always friendly and professional across the board. A top five spot for me on the east side. Highly recommend you GO TO THE RESTURANT and order fresh.“

“Good food for the money. The cashier was very helpful. She made good suggestions. Mushrooms and shrimp cooked properly. Calamari was a little overcooked and chewy but good. Gyros was delicious. Will definitely be back. Very clean seating.“

“Abrianna is an AMAZING worker. She greets everyone with a smile and a wave the second the second they walk in even if she’s with a customer. She makes everyone feel welcome (in my opinion). I loved her energy and patience while I and everyone else in line was ordering especially during a rush. Abrianna also holds down the line so well during rushes especially for being the only one out in the front. GIVE THIS GIRL A RAISE!!! (lol) Would definitely come back especially for her customer service. I hope cava never lets her go.“
