“After my wife's surgery follow-up appointment today, she decided on authentic Greek cuisine as her "lollipop" for withstanding more poking & prodding. Curious about how Mykonos/Longwood would stand up to Hellas in Tarpon Springs, we ventured in. Greeted by a smiling employee we were soon seated and looking over the menu. From the time we sat, Morgan our server was excellent. Cheerful, attentive, and very polite, she treated us like we were royalty. Our appetizer was fried zucchini, very good. The rice soup and salad was perfect. When Morgan brought the entrees of lamb chops & pastitsio - we knew we had to order some for the next two days at home! Everything was fantastic. And we didn't have to go to Tarpon Springs! Instead we found our Greek home food, right here in Longwood. Be sure to ask for Morgan! And hats off to the chef!“

“Tried this place for the first time today with a friend as my lunch date. Started with falafel, which was delicious with and without the dip. I had the Steak Gyro on pita with fries while my friend had the Greek Salad with a salmon skewer. Everything looked & tasted fresh. The atmosphere was laid-back and a home-like feel. Both of us finished with a slice of baklava cheesecake, which was so smooth and not too sweet. Good value for the portions we both got. Definitely coming back!“

“As of 8/20/22: they are closed on Saturdays due to staffing shortage. Which probably means Sunday, too. Didn’t know this as website stated it was open. Drove 20 minutes to realize they are closed.“

“Excellent food - my Greek Salad was very fresh, full of color and flavor. Curtis took my order and was very friendly, efficient. Had to wait a bit longer for my to-go order, yet it was worth the wait.I did encourage the young lady who gave me my order to ask her employer/the restaurant to switch to biodegradable/recyclable food service materials (boxes, cups, etc.), rather than the Styrofoam plates, cups they currently use. I explained to her none of the serving products they use will ever break down/biodegrade.I hope she received my request as constructive, positive - I certainly intended it that way. Every little bit helps in terms of not contributing to a/the landfill. That way, we all win! Thanks again for a great meal! :-)“

“Last time I went to a great greek it was a good value. While it is still good food the prices are high enough that I will likely not return. Just shy of $20 for a gyro, fries and a drink? Sure, if I had a server that sat us down, took our order and refilled the drinks.“

“This was my first time at CAVA and it was really great! Very fresh ingredients. I had a bowl with harissa honey chicken and the meat wasn’t dry at all and was very flavorful. The hummus, tzatziki were delicious as were the little fried pita wedges. The interior/atmosphere wasn’t anything extraordinary, but was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The fresh, house made lemonade was really good too! My husband has celiac disease and everything appears to be gluten-free except for the pita, which is such a plus for us! I will definitely be back!!
Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free needs? This is a place with lots of options! The only thing I remember seeing with gluten were the pita chips!“
