“Cava is one of my favorite quick stop eats. The bowls are so fresh and tasty! My go to is the harissa bowl. The pita chips are really good, but the bowls do come with complimentary pita which I just found out about last week. My husband also likes the lamb option.“
“The best food in the US, me and my family broke our fast here and it was incredible thank you chef Ali excellent food.Vegetarian options: Falafel Sandwich, Tabouleh, Hummus, Grape Leaves, Cheese Flatbread, Zaatar Flatbread, Egg and Cheese Flatbread“
“This place has fantastic food and service. The staff are always eager to please and serve their customers. I have tried the beef and chicken sandwiches. Both are excellent. My favorite is the beef, it has such a great flavor. All the ingredients are fresh and the food is prepared right in front of you. I now crave this food at least 1 -2 times per week. Check this place out, you wont be disappointed.“
“My team at work had our lunch as Take out from Gourmet 2 GO in our office. The food was very well presented, very well cooked and seasoned and delicious from the bread to the chicken to the beef to the sauces and the rice and even the desserts. I am very happy to know that there is such a quality Egyptian restaurant here in the Orlando Area. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone who desires quality food with great presentation and wonderful service.“
“We ordered the gyro pita with salad/fries. The food was delightfully delicious. They also had a baklava deal going on when we came and it was some of the best I’ve had in my life. Highly recommend!Wheelchair accessibility: Totally accessible“
“Hands down the best mediterranean food I have found in Florida. It’s fresh and Delicious. The meals are large and filling. The Greek fries are mouthwatering. They even have a large variety of vegetarian and vegan food that hits the spot. I highly recommend anyone looking for fresh wholesome goodness to give it a try.“
“Give this place a try! Warm, friendly staff, good food, simple, relaxed atmosphere, with plenty of seats. I didn't have much in the way of expectations when we went, as I had never heard of the place, just found it on a whim, and we were all so glad we stopped by. Everyone loved their food and sweet, friendly conversation with the person who served us, maybe the owner? We will definitely be back. Check them out!! Before we left, we were already planning our next visit!“
“This place is absolutely DELICIOUS. Found this place because I was craving a Gyro but I ended up getting a tilapia platter too. BEST.DECISION EVER. The gyro was season to perfection. BUT. The tilapia platter won my heart! Best tilapia I have ever had. And the best seasoned rice I've had in a while. I let my roomate have some and her and her boyfriend went later the same day and loved their food too. also the cook was extremely nice and warm hearted. I will be going back on a weekly basis.“
“Great roasted chicken and tasty side dishes. Best to carry out as dining area leaves much to be desired.Parking: Spots are limited here but it’s worth the wait & many patrons are just getting to-go orders so you won’t have a long wait!“
“Wow! This small mom & pop cafe is underrated! I've been meaning to come to Heart of Jerusalem for a while, and it does not disappoint. Everything tastes so fresh and perfectly spiced. Plus, how can you say no to heart-shaped falafel? The only slight improvement would be for service. A few times, the waiter was walking too fast and would say things in passing rather than address you directly to ask how everything was.“
“Always love to try the Mediterranean style food in the neighborhood. First time ordering out this restaurant, I ordered the lamb gyro platter, the salad and the rice that comes with the platter was delicious but the lamb was kind of dried and salty. The portion of the food is pretty good. Will give them another try next time!“
“Happy that Shiraz Market is holding it down with delicious food. I highly recommend this establishment. We have never been disappointed with anything aside from having enough room to eat more lol. I heard that with advance notice they will make a lamb dish that we have really been wanting to try. This place definitely is a hidden gem in this area.If you like Mediterranean food than you will enjoy this place. Most notably, and a marker for us as a solid food service establishment, is they know how to COOK. You'd be surprised how often that very important thing can be overlooked by many establishments. I like the food service and market combo as well, that is classic, but not common enough these days.Food is everywhere, cuisine is here. Don't sleep on this market for making some amazing food, in fact I've yet to visit the market in person, so I can tell you that it is delicious when delivered and that IS another mark of quality ingredients and preparation that they should be proud of.We keep saying we're going to try different things, but we can't help but order the same assortment of dishes each time- meat gyro, a couple lavash, 2 roasted pepper dishes, the no. 4 chicken and rice platter with the classic sides like tabbouleh and the yogurt cucumber (mast o khiar) and baba ganuosh. It's delicious!Thank you.“
“RUN, don’t walk to CooKitWorld!!!! I am obsessed with this place. I’m overly delighted with the taste, quality & portion size of the food. The convenience is a cherry on top. Though I love to cook, this business has allowed me to gain back my free time and abandon time-consuming meal prep for my work week.I’ve been raving non-stop about it to everyone I know. Soooo grateful ?“
“I have been coming here for gyros for about 20 years because they are the BEST. My husband doesn’t understand why I want to eat a gyro at the mall but nobody else compares to their meat and Taziki sauce. The tabouli and hummus is also delicious.“
“I have been going to the Mediterranean Gourmet for years and always found the food to be fresh and delicious. The team there is always pleasant and cordial. The hummus is great and my favorite item is the chickpea salad. With the exception of the stuffed grape leaves (Dolmades), everything is made fresh.“
“Amazing authentic Lebanese food. Stopped by on a Thur nite and very surprised to see it empty. Was recommended by a co-worker who was half-Lebanese. Food was so delicious! Ingredients were fresh and high quality - no gristle in any of my meat dishes. Had baba ghanouj, grape leaves, shish tawook to start. Baba was smooth, creamy, well-blended with a hint of smoky flavor but not overpowering. The olive oil mixed with it was so good - best way to describe was a clean flavor without leaving any greasy residue. Of course it was imported from a Mediterranean Arabic country, hence the flavor - Hassan the owner said from Morocco or Syria. Grape leaves had vegetarian option so I chose meat! Very tasty, not oily. Shish tawook (chicken kabob) had a nice grilled flavor, nicely tender and marinated. I like the Persian version (shish tavook) a little bit better because it is a little juicier, but the Lebanese was not dried at all - slightly different flavor and definitely warrants a reorder on return visit - and I tend not to order chicken dishes so that says something!Fried kibbi was very good - least favorite but I would reorder again, yes. Crunchy outside, tasty, soft/crumbly inside, meat minced well and not gamey. Makanek was very delicious even though drenched in oil. The sausage had a robust flavor that was not gamey (I love lamb), and stood up well in oil. Very savory but lean flavor - some sausages taste savory due in part to fatty content, but not this one.Baklava was excellent in the tradition of other Arabic cuisines - tend to be drier vs Greek which is wet. Not to the extremely dry end which tends to be very flaky and crumbles. Just wet enough to notice the honey, and no syrupy or cloying sweetness. Would describe the sweetness as not overpowering, even a little subtle, dissolves almost like a powder even though no sugar dust. The owner told me 30 year history of establishment, and how it has been a favorite of foreign dignitaries when they travel to FL. I can see why. Reminds me of an Afghan restaurant in upper East side of Manhattan that had same claim (Pamir). And yes, prices reasonable. Forgot to mention the nice service by owner and the refreshing hot green tea (Moroccan with mint). Mint nicely soothes the entire GI tract, but be wary if you have GERD, not to lay down for at least 2 hrs after (if you have average gastric emptying time) - the tea is soothing but not sleep inducing, so you might be tempted.“
“Wow! I pride myself on knowing fresh Mediterranean food and FETA was amazing! The food was fresh, hot and WAY more than enough! (Could have shared!!) the seafood salad that came with my entree was spectacular and a HUGE serving! Price wasn’t bad at all for the amount of food. Most importantly it was delicious! Seriously, best Gyro I think I’ve ever had!“
“The food is obviously amazing but the reason for the review is the customer service. The manager, Erica, is an amazing human. She is very kind and always a pleasure to talk with when making my bowls. Everyone reading this should take some tips from Erica to make this world a better place. 100/10“
“Wow this is my favorite new place, this definitely beats chipotle and fresh kitchen...sorry not sorry. Not only is this place clean and staff is friendly but the bowls are so good. You have the option of option your own but I ordered the chicken + right rice. Which has grilled chicken hummus, tomatoes + onion, cucumbers, arugula and more!! I highly recommend you giving them a try if you haven't. Specially if you want something fresh and healthy.“
“Love love love this restaurant! We love Greek food, but don’t get a chance to eat out very often. This place never disappoints us. It is our go to place. Everybody is always so friendly, the food taste great and they give back to their community. Fantastic place, if you’ve never been, you won’t be disappointed.“
