The quality of the food is always outstanding, and you can really tell they take pride in what they serve. Our pastor loves it so much he eats here once or twice a week, which says a lot! The customer service is unbelievable & everyone is friendly, welcoming, and genuinely cares about giving you a great experience. (Shoutout Olivia!) The falafel is another must-have for me. I usually add a side order because it’s always a perfect complement to the bowl. “Since the first time I went to a Cava on Long Island it's been one of the staples I look for when traveling. Meant to write this a few weeks ago but finally had the chance to catch up on my reviews. This location is a cut above. Years ago I felt like the Chipotle model was underutilized with one cuisine. Cava figured out how to use with my favorite Mediterranean dishes. If you see my list of reviews I favor Greek & grilled lamb everywhere. They did not disappoint. I was so hungry that day I forgot to take pix. “I started going to Athena’s when my son and family first moved to Maitland over 17 years ago. Since 2018 I went there at least once a week. Having to move back to Connecticut, I miss their chicken so much. My grandchildren know when I come to visit that is the first place I stop to eat. Their chicken is always so delicious and moist.
