This hurts my heart to write. This area has been through so much, but this was the worst dining experience I have ever had. It was my dad’s birthday and I so wanted it to be special. My mom and I arrived 10 minutes early for our 6 pm reservation hoping to get a cocktail at the bar, but was told our table was ready, so we sat. We were one of two tables currently seated in the restaurant. 10 minutes later the 3 other members of our party (including my 5 year old) arrived and we still had not been greeted let alone served water. A few more tables had now arrived and had gotten drinks-still no server. 6:15 finally we get drinks and one of us gets a water, our server Todd asks us to wait to order until he has gotten the next tables drink order. 7 minutes go by, the table now has their drinks and we still haven’t ordered. In the meantime, tables seated after us have food! The server lets us know about food items they are out of, and we finally order. The restaurant is now mostly full with several tables already eating. I ordered the pork chops topped with bacon wrapped shrimp with cheesy grits, Dad gets pork chops with Demi glacé, mom got grilled grouper, son got shrimp nachos. My pork “chops” was actually pork loin smothered in mushrooms. I despise mushrooms and would’ve sent it back had our server bothered to check on us. The loin was over cooked and dry. My dads pork “chops” was also a dried out over cooked loin and served with watery mushrooms. The cheesy grits were undercooked and devoid of any flavor. The shrimp nachos were cold, and the cheese sauce was more like cheese paste over soggy cold fried shrimp. At no point did our server bother to check on us or our food. He did let us know that he wasn’t worried when we said we weren’t happy after asking for the bill. After 2 hours my 5 year old was a now up past 8 on a school night and we’ve got a half hour drive home and still waiting for the bill. I am so disappointed and sad for my dad.

I was pleasantly surprised!!! The owner/wait staff are on point; however, they could really use a real BARTENDER. The food prep and quality are excellent, and the atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing. Did I mention the bartender could use some formal training. Drinks suck unless you order beer in the bottle.

The atmosphere is quiet and looking out on the water is nice. The server was professional, attentive and pleasant. The cheese curds are delicious. I had the Shrimp Alfredo and it was the best Alfredo sauce I ever had. My husband had the Shrimp Tacos and enjoyed them. We have never had a bad meal here. We will visit again.
