Great food great service and if the ac was colder it would have been perfect all the way. But even without the ac id come back just for the food and service alone.

My boyfriend ordered both of us plates from here and it was dissappointing. The Mac and cheese was tasteless. Just plain and no flavor. The yams were dry and firm. I didn't taste anything sweet on them. The chicken was OK. The cornbread was super firm but ok on the taste.

The best turkey wings I’ve had in years, tender and seasoned to perfection! The customer service really is top tier, and you truly can’t beat the prices!! We were traveling and happened to find this place, but will definitely make it a point to come back. A new loyal customer.

I like the place . Not the greatest decour but i dont care about looks. Good service, simple meals. If u care about not over eating or eating fatening foods they make their foods where its good and healthy.. well i should say tbey have fppd and healtby items on their menus. Im from out of town so this matters and its not overly expensive either.

In town from New Jersey and wanted cat fish. Called and was told my fish would be cooked to order. Got there 5★ service stood out. Catfish so good I didn't use hot sauce. Had good sides too I had yams and mac-n-cheese. Cornbread was blah but I definitely still recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting or living in Albany.

Employees were super friendly, I had the baked chicken which was delicious and fell off the bone, Macaroni and cheese, and Lima beans. The macaroni was flavorful and peppery which I love. The limas could’ve used some salt but still had a great flavor. I’ll definitely be returning

Love Those Hotcakes

On 12/15/24, My husband and I was on our way to attend The Worship Live Concert at the Albany Civic Center. We decided to stop and eat before going to the concert, we stopped at Flossie. The customer service was good, but the FOOD was AWFUL!! I ordered Hamburger Steak with gravy, rice, turnips, potato salad, cornbread, and peach cobbler. Cornbread was old and hard so I requested a roll. Only thing I could eat was the Hamburger Steak, Rice, Gravy, and Roll, The taste, texture, and appearance of everything else was just AWFUL!! I asked the server if I could exchange the dark soggy peach cobbler for a slice of cake, it was in a clear container almost frozen so I got it to go so it could thaw out. I noticed a No Refund Policy posted as I walked to the bathroom, they will only replace the meal! Replace it with what!! Everything looked old and overcooked!! We love Soul Food Restaurants and try to support small businesses, but stopping at Flossie was a Big Mistake!!!! Signed, Unsatisfied Customers

Me and my family had reservations for my aunts graduation dinner. I was satisfied with the food and most of all the customer service. They did a good job making sure they were prepared for my family. They cooked the food fresh and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. I had the catfish and cheese grits. It was good and well seasoned!
We were allowed to come in early to setup and Ms. Flossie and her staff were very helpful during the process. The room was spacious and clean. Nice and cool too. We had a great time and no complaints honestly. I do recommend this restaurant for family events.

The food had no seasoning. Barely even any salt. The service also sucked, they barely came and checked on us. The atmosphere, it was really hot in the place and the chairs were really wobbly.
