Met a friend I haven't seen in a while for lunch. A little bit of a wait for order.

Get exactly the sandwich you want, excellent meats, fresh veggies, just fill out your order sheet and await great food!

The sandwich maker was not friendly at all...only with customers who she saw regularly. I think she has been there for awhile.

Today, (3/9/22 - around 12:15) I filled out my form and set it on the counter. I never know where exactly to set it so I place it beside whatever is already there. Apparently today it was placed on part of the one being worked on. I do not work there. There is no way for me to know what you are doing behind the counter and how you fill orders. There were four women behind the counter. The one by the forms said something along the lines of not putting it there and covering the other order cause you can't see it. I'm walking away at this point and didn't catch she was talking to me. I did think perhaps she was but had already turned around. She then says that she knows I heard her. I turn around and three of the women are all glancing my way with hateful expressions. The one behind the register was the only one who did not.I'm not one for confrontation. I'd rather have a one on one discussion if there is an issue and it can be done as adults. This was petty and confrontational. Had I done what most anyone else would have done, I'd have walked out or snapped back. Instead, I waited and paid for the order I placed.Once back at work, I realize that the bread was not what I'd requested. I always get a bakers roll and this was not that. At this point I can't help but feel that it was made incorrectly out of spite.I don't want free food and I don't want anyone fired. What I was is respect. Everyone who enters this business is entitled to that at minimum. If you have a problem, address it respectfully. It seems to me there needs to be a better way of setting order forms on the counter so what is being worked on isn't interrupted. If this small, rude, encounter happened to me - someone who isn't going to snap and give back the ugliness, it is going to happen to others and I can only imagine how some will react. I've worked in customer service for 11 years. I get some customers are rude, but I cannot see how this simple inconvenience called for the rudeness I received.

Mediocre. Too much mayo, like it got on my hand through the soggy bread too much. The oatmeal raisin cookie tasted like hand soap had been spilled into the batter. Loved this place when I was a kid. This was the first time I've had it in like 20 years, since back when it was called Heavenly Ham. I won't be bothering again.

I have always had wonderful customer service here. They stay busy busy! Restrooms are clean, and most of the time your table is clean. But they do get busy where they cannot keep up all the time. They Always have supplies on hand napkins cups straws ....I have never been where something they were "out" of particular food, or supplies.

Every year we pre order food for Christmas or Thanksgiving. This Christmas, I was amazed at how organized they were with the amount of pre-orders they had. I was in and out within 5 minutes with my proper food order. It was super easy to order online and really hassle-free picking up my food. Every employee there is always so cheerful even though they are super busy. Of course we loved the food!

I've recently patronized Heavenly Ham twice recently on the recommendation of a coworker/colleague and had never eaten eat prior. To my surprise I enjoyed it on both occasions and had a good experience. The GM was a "chatty Cathy", but that was fine. By the way, I enjoy customer engagement, so Kudos. I purchased the Club Tavern with no mayo and subituted multi grain bread, which is similar to a wheat sub type bread and I wanted it cold not toasted with Mandarin pineapple salad YUMMY? and a Sprite zero/diet Sierra mist.

Today was my first visit in years, and now I remember why. The staff is awful. I faxed in an order for myself and 2 coworkers. Faxed in the order at 11:45 am, and let them know that I'd be there around 12:30 PM to pick it up. I arrive at 12:25 PM and stand in line for 5 minutes before anyone even acknowledges me. The young girl at the front counter asks me if I called in an order and I tell her that I faxed in my order. She looks at the 2 bags in front of her and tells me they are not mine. Okay, I stand in line for another five minutes. Finally, I have to stop them and ask if they even received my order. The young girl asks the other young girl up front and they tell me that they don't have my order because they'd "remember the names that were on there." I let them know that I faxed it in 45 minutes prior and all they did was tell me to fill out a slip at the counter. So, I have to call my coworkers and have them tell me what they ordered so that I can fill out a slip. While they were making the orders I asked if I could go ahead and pay for the meals because I was already 20 minutes late going back to work. She lets me pay for one, and then individually waits for the other orders to be made before I can pay for them. The customer service was AWFUL. When I got back to work I looked at my fax confirmation to verify that I had sent it to the correct fax number, and sure enough I did. They took no responsibility for their error. Will not be back. Sandwich was good, pasta salad was terrible. Not a good experience all around.

Sooo good. Staff turn over fast, this group seem different and very pleasant. Knowledgeable. Wanted a hambone...they were out. Offered to double check in the back and confirmed offered what day to check in the future. That was a pleasant change. Sandwiches are awesome can make 2 meals!

Had to pick a place for boxed lunches for driver appreciation. Was looking online and seen they had them on the catering. This is 2021 in case you see this year's from now and prices go up but I am feeding 20 people a box lunch with one of 8 sandwiches and 3 sides and 2 desserts to chose from for 171 bucks. And it's a good hearty lunch that tastes better than any burger joint. If you want just one for yourself or want 20 like me this cant be beat. Taste was amazing too my boss said it was so good too. Great job.

Store JUST opened and customer service from one employee in particular was AWFUL! Gonna stay clear of this place when she's at work. It doesn't make any sense to have such a disposition and you JUST opened. BUT That's Albany for you.
