Stopped on a road trip and this place is amazing! It makes me want to find a reason to come back through the area. The food, drinks, and service were all stellar and the restaurant has a super cool vibe.

Ordered the Molcajete Steak with Shrimp. Flavorful but HUGELY SALTY! Portion was generous. Shrimp were large and succulent, but some of the ribeye was very fatty. The addition of onions, mushrooms, tomato and melted cheese completed the dish.

Stopped in for lunch. Food was good. Got the 3 item combo with Chili Rellano, tamale and Flauta. Flauta was bare. No lettuce, crema, guac or cheese. Rellano was amazing! It was like they made a bean chili and threw the green chili in it. I soaked up the extra Rellano sauce with my bare Flauta and was good to go. Great spot for a respectable Mexican meal.

I go for the food, not beautiful decor. The menu is relatively big and I like to pick something different each time. It is lively, but not loud. You can hear everyone at the table talking. The staff is very nice

I don’t usually have any issues here—I come all the time and everything is normally great. But this visit was disappointing. I ordered tacos, wings, and a burrito. Everything was fresh except the tacos—the meat was cold. I did eat one before realizing, but I let the waiter know and asked if they could remake them.

Instead, I was told I’d have to pay for a new order since I ate one. Paying wasn’t the issue at all—I just wanted fresh food. What made it worse is the waiter recognized me as a regular and still refused to remake them.

I’ve been a loyal customer and spend my money here often, so this experience was really disappointing. Because of how it was handled, I won’t be returning.

Great place an excellent service

I will not be returning. I ordered a margarita, and after one sip I immediately felt sick to my stomach. The drink tasted extremely strong and seemed to contain a mixture of alcohols. I informed my waiter, who brought the manager (a female, possibly the owner). I was told I had to keep the drink and could take it to go, which was disappointing and concerning.
While the staff was polite, alcohol service laws should be followed more carefully to avoid potential issues in the future.
Additionally, there were very limited salad options, and the avocados appeared processed rather than fresh.
Overall, the staff was nice, but the experience fell short, and I won’t be back.
