We had a table of 8 for a birthday dinner on a Saturday evening before 5. At the time there were maybe 2 more parties in the entire building. We had to wait for a table and half of the menu was not avaliable to order. We waited almost an hour for our food which was mediocre at best. The best part of the meal was the spinach dip

The food took forever to come out and it wasn't all good. My husband went simple he got wings and dip probably was the best out of 5 of us. The Oxtails wasn't good at all I sent them back. But waiter was awesome tho great energy. If I'm in Georgia I wouldn't go back for the food lol. But everyone has to give it a try maybe it was just that night. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Everyone thinks The Catch is the best. I've been to both and the food at The Flint is by far the better tasting. Quality was outstanding. Service was wonderful. DeAngelo was our waiter and was so helpful, pleasant, and just the best waiter. The stuffed flounder, crab claws were the best I've ever had. Great atmosphere. I think it is a wonderful restaurant with outstanding food and drink. Don't go with the norm, come see what you're missing out on. Best food in town!

Came in on a Wednesday night, not too many people in the restaurant. Got the ribeye with a baked potato and asparagus. The steak was cooked perfectly but was really salty and swimming in a vinegary liquid, compound butter on top never melted. The grilled asparagus was extremely over seasoned as well. Food came out quick and service was great.

The Flint is a great spot located in downtown Albany. The space is stylish and clean, with a warm, welcoming vibe. The staff are friendly, helpful, and quick.
The food is excellent, from the burgers to the seafood and meat dishes, everything is flavorful and well-prepared. The spinach dip is especially tasty and definitely worth trying. The drinks are also well crafted, and the background music, a mix of soul, funk, and R&B, sets a perfect mood for the evening.
The only downside, unfortunately, is the location. While the restaurant itself is great, the surrounding area can feel a bit unsafe at times, depending on who’s around. That said, if you’re comfortable with the neighborhood, the dining experience at The Flint is definitely worth it. See you next time!

It's my first time here, and I will be back. It was so nice. I was met at the door and seated quickly. The grits were very good, a little too salty, but add some water, and hopefully, it will thin it out. The drinks were nice . The entire atmosphere was on point. I look forward to my next visit. I even met the owner's mom. She is the bomb diggity.

We took a group of 5 and it was a couple of ours first times there. The place was clean and tasteful. Our server wasn't horrible but wasn't one i would ask for again as she was hard to locate at times and borderline rude.
The food, the appetizer was great had the fried green tomatoes. My wife got potatoes soup which was wonderful. My friend said his burger was good. But 4 of us had the rib eye. One friend smothered his in ranch so not sure how it actually was. But 3 of ours were un edible. 50% of each steak was fat then way to much salt. Then the steaks were plated in almost a 1/4 inch of olive oil. The sides would have been good if not for being cold. 2 steaks were sent back and the 3rd taken home to feed to pet.
Spoke to owner he was polite and listened and believe he actually took to heart. We will give them.another try in a month or so and will update if any improvement

I would absolutely absolutely call this the crown jewel of Albany! Service was flawless, and the oxtail was not only the most delicious I ever had but the meatiest and best presentation. The greens mix is good. The asparagus is good. The cheese grits are the bomb. Delicious!

We usually have an amazing time. The bartender asked us what music would we like to hear and he decided to turn on rap music towards the end of our night. We were confused. We were enjoying our romantic dinner for our anniversary and it got ruined. If I wanted to go to a club I would have.
