Five Guys in Alpharetta

“Great bacon cheeseburger and “little” fries (nothing little about the volume, though), but be prepared to pay $20+ for this. Service was okay from greeting standpoint, maybe tired towards end of the day, though that should not matter. Staff was just uninterested to welcome people. Place is clean but feels unwelcoming all at the same time.“

“There used to be an argument over burgers. Whataburger, In-n-Out, Five Guys.

Five guys is so far and above other regular burger places it isn't funny. Consistently one of the best burgers you can get with enough fries for feed 2-3 people. The Hot Dog isn't anything to scoff at either.

And with a Coke free style machine, I'm not sure what else you want from a burger joint.

“Decided to try the hot dog menu item with fries and a vanilla milkshake. Tab- a bit over $20 before tip.
Hot dog was split lengthwise and cooked on a flattop grill. Not unusual for me since I had used this method for cooking my hot dogs over many years.
I had lettuce, tomatoes, onions and pickles with mayonnaise (forgot to add mustard).
Overall the sandwich was pretty good, similar to the ones I made at home. Only issue was the bun began to disintegrate halfway through the sandwich with my fillings falling out.
Other than the bun failure the sandwich was pretty good I would advise a stronger bun and perhaps a bit more char on the “dog”.“
