“Airport food is often ridiculously overpriced and underwhelming but after a VERY long, frustrating day of travel with delay after cancellation after delay, I tried 3 other places in the Atlanta airport only to feel more frustrated and rejected and disappointed UNTIL I went out of my way to a different concourse and found Five Guys. I’ve been to them many times before but not in the airport. The prices were still high but this time I gladly paid because from the first person I spoke to (Amari M) the experience was a breath of fresh air after a day of seemingly never ending frustration. Amari was pleasant, helpful and friendly! He was happy to help me with my voucher for payment (unlike Popeyes who seemed to not care at all about losing a customer if they had to deal with a voucher for payment). The food was fresh made and excellent quality. I will admit that the patty was the tiniest patty I’ve ever seen on a fast food burger but I didn’t mind because it was still clearly fresh and everything was delicious!!! AND (unlike so many other restaurants I passed in the airport) they had fountain Coke products!! Thank you Five Guys for bringing a little ray of sunshine to and otherwise depressing day.“

“I have to say, I really like 5 guys food but this store amazed me. I could not believe the prices. 5 guys is not the cheapest burger buts it's really good but this store was alot more expensive than I have seen at any of the 5 guys I have visited. The food was still pretty good but A bacon cheeseburger, fries and a water was $24.00. I could not believe it. I definitely will not be going back and I will spread the word.“

“I recently stopped by Five Guys while visiting Atlanta, and it reminded me why the restaurant has such a loyal following. The experience was simple, straightforward, and focused on what matters most—great burgers and fresh ingredients.

The burger was cooked to order and tasted incredibly fresh. I liked being able to customize it with a wide selection of toppings at no extra charge, which made it easy to create exactly what I wanted. The fries were another standout. They were hot, crispy, and served in the generous portions that Five Guys is known for. Everything felt freshly prepared rather than sitting under a heat lamp.

The staff was friendly and efficient, keeping the line moving while still providing good customer service. The casual atmosphere made it a comfortable place to grab a quick meal without feeling rushed.

For first-time visitors, I recommend taking advantage of the free toppings to customize your burger. Sharing an order of fries can also be a good idea because the portions are quite large. If you're visiting during lunch or dinner rush, expect a short wait since food is prepared fresh to order.

Overall, Five Guys delivers quality burgers, excellent fries, and consistent service. It's a reliable choice whenever I'm looking for a satisfying and flavorful meal.“

“Regarding parking, here's the hack: use the Northside entrance, park by Lidl. After entering the parking lot, take a left and look for the blue staircase at the back left corner. Walk up those stairs, follow signs to Five Guys. Easy-peasy, 90-minutes free parking.“

“Today is my last day in Atlanta. Thinking back to when I first came to this city as an international student, I was filled with longing and hope for a foreign country, carrying the expectations of my father, mother, grandmother, and younger sister. I also hoped that I could produce some academic achievements of my own and make them proud of me for once. I had no car, not much money, couldn’t eat the Chinese food I liked in the United States, and didn’t have a single friend.

One day, when I was starving, I opened Uber Eats and saw a buy-one-get-one cheeseburger deal from Five Guys. I gritted my teeth and ordered it, and also added a medium fries. With the delivery fee and tip, it probably cost more than ten dollars extra. That meal was the most delicious meal I had ever eaten. The fries portion was huge. Although many of them still had the skin on, the beef was especially juicy, and there were several packets of ketchup. It really was expensive, though.

From then on, I would save up my money every week and reward myself on weekends with a buy-one-get-one cheeseburger, a small fries, and a Coke Zero. Back then, I felt like I was eating the best burger in the world. I was truly happy. One meal could keep me going for an entire day.

Two years have passed, and my life as an international student disappeared in the blink of an eye. I still don’t have a car. Every day I worry about finding a job. When I’m in a bad mood, I go buy a bottle of alcohol or smoke a cigarette. Sometimes I even forget to bring my ID. Buying alcohol and cigarettes in China isn’t this troublesome.

During my years abroad, my grandmother was diagnosed with late-stage cancer and passed away. My father and mother have gotten a lot more gray hair, and I’m not young anymore either. The future is still very uncertain. My research life hasn’t achieved much, and high-paying jobs are hard to find. I’ll be returning to China soon. I probably won’t be able to eat a burger this good anymore.“
