It’s hard not to be happy when you walk in to Kilwins. Mostly, because you have a child or a grandchild in tow. When you enter, you are immediately greeted by the smell of sweet, ice cream and chocolate.
They do a nice job with the oversize scoops of ice cream in the cups and in the handmade waffle cones.
If you’re over 60 or lactose intolerant, you’re probably not buying the ice cream for yourself. Most likely you’re gonna be handing it off to a grandchild...

My family and I visited Kilwins in Alpharetta for the first time today, and it was such a delightful experience from start to finish! As soon as we stepped out of the car, we were welcomed by the heavenly aroma of sweet treats drifting through the air. The store itself was spotless and beautifully kept.
