About Whataburger

Whataburger is a 24-hour restaurant offering a decent choice of sandwiches and burgers made fresh. It is a nice option for a late-night snack or meal. The breakfast food is great, with biscuits that are always the perfect amount of doneness, and free coffee is offered to vets. The burgers are great, though fries can be a little over-salted. Orders sometimes come out incorrectly labelled.

The wait can be long or a bit excessive, sometimes taking around 18 minutes, depending on what is ordered. There are multiple drive-through lanes. The dining area is your typical fast food experience but is very clean. Some locations have had issues, such as being short-staffed, having a full garbage, being out of sweet tea or medium lids, and rarely having a person at the register. The experience of kiosks replacing humans is not preferred by all.

However, the service can be spectacular, with employees who are polite, professional, helpful, personable, friendly, detailed, genuinely welcoming, and consistent. Such employees are wonderful surprises and great representatives, making customers feel like they matter and are the reason they keep coming back. Overall, it provides a pretty good meal and experience.

and the sausage had a funny taste to it. i ordered it to try them out and see what the hype was about but honestly, ive had better at hardees or burger king. it was GROSS!

this place is terrible. only way youd call this good is if you didnt have any other food

I'll preface my comment by saying this was my one and only visit. My wife and I each had a burger and fries. We waited about ten minutes which was perfectly fine since that meant our food was being prepared as we waited. I was optimistic. Unfortunately, both our burgers were room temperature. The roll was good as was the vegetables. Fries were also lacking in any heat. No plan to return, even though we had high hopes.
I should note, the staff was very friendly and...read full review
