Awesome time. Great beer!

As a first timer at Authentic, I had a great time! They’ve got two dark beers that are great. I also love that they have single stall, gender inclusive bathrooms.

I delivered an order there from door dash today( it was the wrong order) their was a Caucasian male about 6”1 maybe 6”2 heavyset male with brown hair along with a brown skinned girl with black curly hair and glasses who proceed to be dishonest about the order instead they not only stole food from a guy whose in the hospital but u proceed to eat the food and say my manager ordered the food she’s in a meeting, to have such low standards in this world today is ridiculous !! If you will steal from someone trying to live (the guy in the hospital) as well as from me doing this so my kids can eat) and lie give your manager a bad name whose to say u won’t steal from your company, if the need arose I pray that the guy gets his food he’s called several times even though I’ve explained the situation to him he’s elderly by the sound of it!!! It’s sickens me to think ppl act this way for food!! as to what kinda ppl work for this company their integrity definitely needs questioning!!??? not only that I clearly reapeated the name “Allen” multiple times as not to get it confused with the manager “ALLI”!

The beer here is excellent, there is something for everyone's taste. The part I like best is they don't only make IPA's. They have plenty of toasty brown beers (my favorite), and even alcoholic slushes. Even a non-beer drinker can find something for them here. The best part of Athentic, however, is the atmosphere. It's the sort of place where locals bring their dogs. More families than frat bros come here. It's a good place for when you want to hang out but not yell to be heard. The staff is friendly and professional.

Athentic is pretty awesome. Their Floodgate is a favorite, as is Sister and the atmosphere is always good. There is almost always something going on here so it's always a good time to go. My favorite Athens brewery.

TBH, went here about a year ago and wasn’t too keen on their beer, but dug their inclusive and welcoming vibe. Decided recently to give them another shot, and the beer seemed drastically improved. We found several that we really enjoyed. We’ve been back several times for music bingo and happy hour. Thoroughly enjoyed as a family, including $1 sodas (appreciated for NA people). Vibe still great, and now beer to match!

I believe in freedom of speech, but draw the line at being exposed to an individual singing the mantra "All cops are (enter derogatory description)" over and over again on the evening of May 13th. My friend and I were both highly offended and walked out. And no, we do not work in law enforcement. We just have respect for the men and women who put their own lives in danger every day to protect total strangers. Interesting enough, if there there was an active shooter or other emergency during this song and the manager in charge, performer, or customers enjoying the song called 911, the "derogatory description" -- as they have been identified by the singer and accepted by the venue -- would still come.

Solid lineup of beer. Cool inclusive atmosphere. Not my fave, but you'll have a blast.

Have only been here once, but will most certainly return. Great beer and great atmosphere, both inside and outside. They also feature live music regularly. If I still lived in Normaltown, this place would be dangerous ?

Super comfortable space for live events and gatherings. Kids and dogs are allowed in the patio. Next time I'll have to try the fresh tacos ?

Unfortunately, they’ve become way to “woke.” Used to be a go to, but I don’t really want to mix my politics with my beer. And this is saying a lot considering this is in Athens and everyone seems to be at least a little political.
