Athentic is pretty awesome. Their Floodgate is a favorite, as is Sister and the atmosphere is always good. There is almost always something going on here so it's always a good time to go. My favorite Athens brewery.
TBH, went here about a year ago and wasn’t too keen on their beer, but dug their inclusive and welcoming vibe. Decided recently to give them another shot, and the beer seemed drastically improved. We found several that we really enjoyed. We’ve been back several times for music bingo and happy hour. Thoroughly enjoyed as a family, including $1 sodas (appreciated for NA people). Vibe still great, and now beer to match!

The beer here is excellent, there is something for everyone's taste. The part I like best is they don't only make IPA's. They have plenty of toasty brown beers (my favorite), and even alcoholic slushes. Even a non-beer drinker can find something for them here. The best part of Athentic, however, is the atmosphere. It's the sort of place where locals bring their dogs. More families than frat bros come here. It's a good place for when you want to hang out but not yell to be heard....read full review
