Wonderful little art house theater in downtown Athens. Great place to see indie films and limited releases. Consistent quality films showing. Sometimes, including discussion panels or filmmaker Q&A.
My son's band, Kaimera, got the opportunity to host a show at Ciné on 5/31/25. While I wasn't there for the movie theater experience, it seems like a great place to watch movies and hang out in the Cafe area. The room where the bands were playing was a great size and had seating and tables to place drinks/food. The stage was large enough for the bands to comfortably move around and play their instruments.
