Love this place, especially the patio with the boat on it! This spot is more popular with Athens locals rather than the college crowd, so you'll find that reflected in the types of drinks offered.
Little Kings Shuffle Club is one of the many great dive bars to be found in downtown Athens. We stopped in to pregame it a little before the third night of the Drive-by Truckers annual four night heathens homecoming run at the 40 Watt. Little Kings did not disappoint. One of my most visited and favorite bars/ venues /hangs in Athens. The building is beautiful, and the atmosphere is quirky vintage eclectic, and the best thing about all of it is that nothing here takes itself too seriously. The boat in the back is my favorite place to discuss the business of living. It's always a great time, and the staff is unbeatable.
