I recently visited George's Lowcountry Table with my family for my birthday. We had reservations for early evening and the restaurant was already very busy! We were seated on time around the bar area and promptly met by Taylor, who proceeded to answer our questions and take our orders. Our food came out quickly and we spent the next hour or so enjoying great seafood, including fried shrimp, Lowcountry Enchiladas and Shrimp and Tortellini Carbonara. I had the fried shrimp...
We were seated immediately, the service was friendly and attentive, the food and drinks were delicious. My wife and I had a great time. I’ll be sure to return next time I’m in Athens.

It was really good.
I had the gumbo and creamed spinach because I didn't have room left for an entree after eating so many hot, buttered, cheesy biscuits (which were definitely caught somewhere other than Cheddar Bay).
My partner had the eggplant pirogue and it was so good that she ate the whole thing right then and there, despite having just recently cleaned her salad plate.
