Hands down the best Jamaican cuisine in Athens! The food is truly authentic, and Kelly’s is definitely a staple in Athens! I hope College Gameday will check it out when they pull up for a game one weekend!
All of the food is amazing but the jerk pork is what he's known for. Great sides too like spicy squash, collard greens, green beans, rice and peas, mac and cheese, and cornbread. Kelly is a local icon and an all around good dude.
Been Eating here for over 20 yrs. I use to see Kelly at 5:30 am when I opened up the coffee shop I worked at and then he would work all day until he closed it down. Much respect for this man. Best Mac and cheese in the city. Green’s are better than grandmas. If the jerk is too hot try the curry chicken. The curry is turmeric based and has no spice. It’s my favorite. The “bread”, dear lord get out of here.
