Such amazing food and even better service. Our server Sebastian was very chatty and friendly.. he even played along with my dad’s terrible jokes. Would 100% recommend this restaurant!

The staff and food is fantastic! Big game day, reservations are preferred, but if you go right when they open, can seat two at table or bar.

It was very good food. Service was great, though the food was a bit slow to the table even though there weren't many people there. I would go back. They have some very yummy dishes that include mushrooms.

Attempted to grab dinner tonight and although half the restaurant was empty were told no seats due to reservations starting one hour out. Two seats open at the bar and asked if we could dine there, were told no due to saving those seats for the owners friends who may arrive. Overall disappointing experience.

The greatest little place! Feels like home with the BEST italian food and Chloe , the bar manager was so attentive and just a pleasure to talk to! My friend recommended and we are so glad we chose to visit! Will definitely be back! Thank you Chloe !

My mom and I came to Athens, Ga for the Alabama vs. Georgia game and we had to eat here. The owner of Osteria Athena, was so welcoming and kind to us even though we’re Bama fans! We ordered the Bruschetta al funghi, a caesare salad, Pollo al Marsala, and the Pollo Alla francese. The bruschetta is too die for…the best I’ve ever had. Both of the chicken dishes were flavorful and the chicken was oh so tender…PERFECTION🤌🏼 Osteria Athena has an amazing wine selection and the espresso martini’s 10/10. We will definitely be back. Please, please, please put an Osteria Athena in T-town!!!! Oh and one more thing ROLLLLL TIDE ROLLLLL!!!!!

Had a wonderful experience here at the bar for an early dinner. The ambience is lovely, the menu is concise, executed with quality ingredients and presented with warm service. This spot is excellent for all occasions; a quick bite, a date night, or a celebratory dinner with a larger group.
Highly recommend the caesar and pastas, but the espresso and tiramisu were the star of the show. Jarrod behind the bar was incredibly kind and knowledgeable about the menu, and made a gorgeous espresso martini. Gem of a place!
I popped in solo on a random Tuesday evening I had a great experience. The food, wine, limoncello, atmosphere, and staff were amazing! I would highly recommend!

The food was delicious. Staff attentive and knowledgeable. Its a little too dark in there, they could turn the lights up a little. But then again, im a little older than a college student 😉

While walking down the road I noticed their menu and decided to give it a try. Wow, what a great surprise. Met the owner, Drew, who was very welcoming. I’ve never been to Athens, but I have had authentic Italian, and I will be sure when Im back in town, I’ll be stopping in again.

The best Italian food in Athens I’ve had, no question. The ambiance is awesome, very true to other ‘fine-dining’ type places in Athens, definitely a step up from your average burger joint but not so fancy it makes you feel underdressed in a polo and shorts. Our server, Noah, was great, and who I’m assuming was the owner was also there, checking in a few times throughout the meal to see how everything was. We started with the caprese salad, which was delicious, not too much pizzazz, just good mozz, fresh tomatoes and basil. For our entrees, I had the crab and shrimp pasta, and my partner had the caserecce alla campagna (ribbon pasta with italian sausage). It was excellent! Pasta was great, the shrimp was nice and plump, and the crab really shined through the whole dish. Same with my partners, great flavors, good portions, everything you could ask for. And the whole damn meal was cooked up by one guy! We were blown away. The tiramisu was just the icing on top, super delicious and creamy. Safe to say we’ll be back, and I’ll be recommending this til my face turns blue.
