Everything about this place is amazing! We travel to Italy often and are obsessed with the food and wine… This place is so authentic and is the only truly Italian experience in Athens ( and surrounding areas!) The owner Drew introduced us to a brand new wine we had never heard of before, and it was absolutely amazing! We went with friends, and it was the perfect spot for a “double date”…. We will be back SOON for more of that DELICIOUS wine, pasta and Aperol Spritz !
5 STARS!!!! Athens has changed a lot since I've moved to CO and I'm sure it will continue to grow and change. However, I hope the one thing that continues to stay the same is Osteria Athena. Tucked away on E Broad Street you will stumble upon a local authentic Italian restaurant where the food and service is 10/10. I tried 4 different dishes, and each one was...chef's kiss. I'm shocked by any negative reviews here...."flavorless?"...far from it. If you are seeking more "flavor" aka canned processed sauce and a frozen meal taste, I recommend Olive Garden or Carrabba's. I would also recommend not going to Italy because the flavors here are closely matched to my visit in Como, Italy. I definitely have plans to come back and show my CO friends my hometown and the first stop will be Osteria Athena. Thank you for such a great night and I can't wait to come back.

This is a must when visiting Athens. As one of the only places that accept reservations I go here often when my parents come to visit. Service is amazing. The food is great although it is a very small menu and not very many options. I would recommend looking at the menu before going, but if you see something you like, definitely spend dinner here.
One of my favorite restaurants in Athens! The mushroom pasta and lasagna are so so good and I have to get a tiramisu for dessert. They have a very attentive staff and a great wine list. It's very cozy so perfect for a date night!

Celebrated my husband and I's six month anniversary and it was the PERFECT spot! Visited Italy about a year ago and the pasta here tastes the exact same! The atmosphere is romantic and quaint. The service is EXCELLENT. The owner, Drew came over to talk to us and we had the best conversation. Our server Jared was so sweet and so professional. The perfect spot for a romantic dinner and authentic Italian food!! Must get the Tagliatelle with mushrooms!!!

Best place for a classy dinner in Athens. Great ambience, candles, 2nd floor dining room, classy music, and authentic Italian food, but the best part is the service. Jared was an awesome server and we had a great time getting to know him. The owner also stopped by and he was so much fun! Thank you Drew and Jared! This is our new date night spot.

This is the best Italian in Athens and most likely GA. The atmosphere is authentic and genuine the owner demonstrates his passion by spending time at each table. The tagliatelle is so delicious and I have thought about it for months since my last visit. 100% going back every time I come to Athens. Elaine was our server and she was super sweet and so funny as well.Kid-friendliness: Watched a table of young kids enjoy great cuisine.

Osteria Athena is a truly special place. I'm hesitant to leave this review in fear too many people will find out about it! If you are looking for a real dining gem in Athens look no further than Osteria. The atmosphere has a beautiful jazz club aesthetic with the rustic accents of the vintage downtown lofts. The food truly comes out as plates of passion, and these dishes are crafted to perfection with no corners cut. The plating is beautiful and portions are very generous. The flavor is uniquely Osteria, and undoubtedly some of the best you will find anywhere within 50 miles. The wait staff is attentive and engaging without being overbearing. The glass is always full, the bread is always stocked, and the recommendations are excellent. If you want a fine dining experience in a quiet corner of downtown Athens, I urge you to try Osteria Athena. Look for the door leading upstairs, and enjoy.
