Meh at best. My baja burrito was soggy with black bean water. So I put it in a bowl to try to eat it, then discovered it was full of purple onions. That's on me for forgetting to say no onions. Then, there wasn't the slightest taste of cilantro at all. My bf's quesadilla didn't come with the chips (but whatever about chips really), and his was meh as well. I can honestly make better at home, so I guess I will from now on. Considering we paid $23 for 2 of us to eat lunch. Geez. Was hoping this hole in the wall type place would be a hit. Besides the parking and location being atrocious (they share asphalt with DD so BEWARE of gridlock), I do always see people there. We won't be back, but you should at least try it once. Don't take my word for it. Service was good. No issues there. Very nice staff.

The Taco Stand in Athens probably doesn't need another review to keep business booming but I will give them a shout out anyway.
This place has been a staple since as long as I can remember.
Athens has seen for to keep this establishment open for decades and any trip will show why.
Easy in and out parking lot. Friendly staff and great food. What more do you want?
They have some indoor seats as well as a huge outside covered seating.
It's hard to choose what to mention when it comes to the food so just start at the top and order something different each time? You won't be disappointed.

I ordered a burrito but I don't know what I'm eating right now lol
Great experience! I am new to Athens, and my boss suggested we have Taco Stand for dinner tonight. I ordered enchiladas, however they had ran out of the shells they use. The manager went to the grocery store to purchase the ingredients needed to prepare our delicious dinner! There were actually 4 of us eating here for the first time, and we were all impressed! I will definitely be back!!!

Let me begin by saying we love the food at Taco Stand. If you eat there, you can easily get problems with your order fixed. Takeout is terrible. If you order more than two things, they're bound to leave something out every time, but receipt shows you paid for it. You should take everything out of the bags and check your order before you go or somebody is going to be ticked that their food isn't there. It's especially irritating when you drove 20+ miles both ways to get it.
Friendly staff, good tacos!!!

Not what I remember. Beef in taco was sweet. I ordered a bean quesadilla, but got chicken. The enchilada sauce on burrito also was sweet. Very strange.
