Amazing breakfast burritos! Some of the best I've ever had, especially the sausage & egg & chorizo & egg! We always go through the drive thru with our dog & they always give her a nice treat :-) We love Tamez!

By far the best bbq I've ever had... so good that I went twice on a three day visit to Athens. The brisket plate is amazing, and their greens are perfect. My only regret is that I didn't have one of their famous breakfast burritos. Next time!

Hilariously small burrito.I've eaten bbq, and burritos in every corner of this country, and rarely feel called to review, because most bbq is pretty good! But...I'm amazed that people are recommending this place based on their burrito, which uses the same size tortilla as their taco, includes one slice of watery brisket, and charges extra to add any ingredient other than meat.The brisket sandwich was also poorly filled, yet priced at a similar price to sandwiches filled much higher from folks who smoke their meat using the same methods. I've had much larger sandwiches, arranged with much more care, in big cities, for the same price.For sides, they were out of most of them, but the greens included 4-5 leaves per container, and were strangely flavored and sparingly uncooked.I'd avoid for lunch unless you're desperate and want to order two meals per person.

Have only been for the breakfast burritos on Saturday, but they're great. Homemade flour tortillas with great filling choices. Chorizo-egg-and-cheese is my go-to, as well as bean-and-cheese, and chorizo-potato-and-cheese, can't wait to try the weekday BBQ offerings.
