Super good food, and lovely people. I have always enjoyed going there but it can be a long wait to receive food . My favorite part is their dinner, but the chicken salad lunch was soo good. The place is not very pretty, not too fancy looking but it is so cozy.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Our server, Lucy, was a breath of fresh air and took care of us like we were family. She was a consummate professional, appearing quietly at our side to refill beverages, offer more guidance, and explain menu details.The food was delicious. Our party of 5 had different offerings and we were all so pleased. The food was served attractively and all of the unique ingredients blended extremely well together. The atmosphere was quietly elegant and the price point was, in my opinion, fabulous.

Lovely restaurant in downtown Athen, GA. We went for brunch and had amazing chicken salad and great bloody Marys. Very good waitstaff and nice ambiance. Definitely recommend!

Service was impeccable. And. A time was had. Food was fresh and they even made there own ginger beer. For a non drinker that only drinks ginger beer when I'm out. This was the coup de grace.

During our short 5 day stay in Athens, we ate here twice! Menu changes often but so many interesting choices. The salmon was cooked to perfection and loved the chicken dish as well. Atmosphere feels friendly and welcoming while upscale. Would highly recommend

Our waiter Tom was excellent. Ready to help us select a wine we would enjoy. Our food was delicious. Prepared so we could easily share. A nice end to our day.
Great vibe and cool interior. Excellent service and well executed dishes. Staff very friendly with solid drink and wine options with matching glassware. Highly recommend.

This was a great spot for a group dinner. We had reservations and a nice big table. The server was attentive and the food was delicious. We tried all the appetizers and they were all delicious. No one was disappointed with their meal!

I have been to the National several times now and each time I tell my self I am not coming back. I end up returning due to an invitation or work function, etc. The wait staff is consistently neglectful and self righteous. The atmosphere is way overcrowded. The food is decent but it is high priced and small portioned. For example we were served our appetizer before our drinks. After waiting 10 minutes i asked our waiter to check on our drinks and he basically said get over it, the bar is busy. We ate our entire meal without someone checking on us to see if we needed anything.

I was the first timer on Saturday to this lovely restaurant. I had the power lunch and was so pleasantly surprised. The vegetables were all cooked with care and extreme attention to detail and flavors. The desert was out of this world! I can't wait to come back.
