AMAZING FOOD!! The lamb shawarma was only 14$ and honestly one of the best I've ever had. Really chill atmosphere, amazing staff, lots of fun local art EVERYWHERE! The drinks were really good and very affordable. The well tequila shot was just 6$ and they poured them generously. Its set up to be able to host live music and there was a booth for a DJ, but I was there at 9pm on a Sunday, so it was pretty chill. Will absolutely be a repeat visit spot anytime I'm in Athens.
My recent visit to The World Famous in Athens, GA, was an absolute delight! This vibrant spot offered a fantastic evening with great karaoke, tasty food, and an outstanding staff. The karaoke was a highlight, with an energetic crowd and a diverse song list that kept the party going. The food was impressive—flavorful pub classics served quickly despite the bustling atmosphere. The staff truly shone, with their friendly, attentive service and welcoming vibes making us feel right...
Ordered the poutine with braised pork and it was either the first or second best meal I have had in my entire life and that’s not a joke. Absolutely incredible. Was my first impression of food in Georgia and it blew my mind.
