Amazing people! So kind and patient when ordering. The lemonade and tea were amazing! Enjoyed the sweet potatoes and squash casserole were delicious. The chicken came out piping hot. It and the steak lack a little flavor to me and the mac and cheese was okay. The prices were very reasonable. There was a steady stream of regulars coming through as well.
It was a long wait, but worth every second. It was busy as hell when we showed up. The atmosphere was so casual but personal, mildly chaotic, and very fun. People yelling orders, general kitchen noises, people laughing and talking, it was great. And the food... Well it was amazing. Again, absolutely worth the wait in my opinion.
Think of that seedy little restaurant that you feel guilty going to because it's so good and the prices aren't bad. Not to say it's cheap,it's moderately priced, but it's worth every penny!
