I observed that none of the tables had been cleaned, and I offered my assistance. The bartender appeared displeased by my offer. I stated, “I am just being kind.” She responded that she did not need help. Her attitude was rude and aggressive simply because we offered assistance. She asked me to leave. Wow! I was not rude just offering to be kind. Big mistake to offer. This was our second visit, and at that time, there were also no clean tables available, so it seems it is not considered our responsibility. Fortunately, a customer overheard the situation and remarked, “Welcome to Atlanta.”
Having worked in food service, I understand the importance of kindness, but I was surprised by the negative response to my offer to help.

Service was good enough for an airport restaurant. Food was actually terrible. Nachos consisted of room temperature chips, store bought nacho cheese, a spoonful of sour cream and diced tomatoes (not pico de gallo, just a pile of diced tomatoes). They didn't have half the menu available (no pizza or sliders). The quesadilla was low quality precooked chicken and cheese slightly warmed between two tortillas. Also the beers on tap didn't match the menu. Cocktail was decent. Hard to do worse for the price.

I am traveling for a business trip, and my layover happened to stop here in ATL. There were two young servers I waited 20 minutes for one server to serve me. Which I was told they are only serving 3 items on the menu. I order a drink. I then wait 40 minutes for them to come back up to me which they never did. I stood at the bar for another 10 minutes and wait not one of the servers paid me any attention. I asked for my tab and still had to wait 15 more minutes. I’m highly upset to spend my time or money here. I’ve been in total 1 hour for 1drink and still have yet to receive my ticket. The two young black women have had horrible service with everyone here. Rude attitudes . Highly dissatisfied!! And will be-contacting management

Concourse D just got an upgrade. 40/40 Bar isn’t “good for an airport” it’s just good. Randy, Patia & Mimi turned a layover into a legit lounge vibe: fast service, balanced drinks, fresh food. A hidden gem at ATL.
Tia. Amazing. The way she flawlessly handles the volume of people impressive. Flight was delayed 4 hours, so yes I sat and watch. However, food selection very limited. So, if you want food. Don’t come here. Drinks and company, sure.
