Don’t eat here. Not good. They refunded us which was nice but it tastes like hospital food.

Finally tried this bakery after hearing so much about it. Everything looked freshly made and the selection was impressive.
The butternut squash & spinach quiche was really good, flavorful and quite filling.
The pistachio croissant was unfortunately disappointing as the filling inside tasted off.
I also tried two cake slices, the midnight cake was a bit dry, but the milk chocolate hazelnut crunch was absolutely delicious and definitely the highlight for me.

I’ve been coming to Alon’s Bakery from time to time over the past four years. The service is always great, the atmosphere is on point, and they never disappoint. Consistently excellent experience.

Not sure if the person at checkout didn’t want to or if it’s store policy, but refusal to heat up a savory pastry is wild. The COLD quiche was okay taste wise - probably would’ve tasted better warm
Cute place, good looking pastries. But I would hope they would serve coffee in real mugs. Or at least ask when ordering. It’s a terrible waste of resources plus I don’t want to drink plastic. The paper cups are not made or paper, they have plastic in it that melts when you pour hot drinks in it.

Terrible customer service
My favorite French bakery in Atlanta. I miss their Perimeter location (
I love the cakes from here. Chocolate truffle is so good here.
Terrible operations for a queue line. Heads up when coming here for the first time… no way finders, no directional. Easily get in the wrong line and payment in a completely different area. Oh, and location is incorrect on Google Maps

We ordered the chicken basil sandwich on focaccia and it was fairly tasty. My only complaint is that the food was super cold to where it was a but unappetizing. The sandwich would’ve been sooooo much better if it were heated up or even room temperature. The chicken was an unsettling to eat bc of how cold it was. But the pesto and the bread were so delicious so it was such a shame they ruined the sandwich with the ice cold chicken. The sandwich would’ve been perfect had they warmed it to where the cheese was melted and the chicken wasn’t on the cusp of frozen.

At Alon’s in Phipps Plaza, the food speaks for itself—fresh, vibrant, and crafted with the finest ingredients. From delicate pastries and rich coffee to crisp salads and heartier fare, every dish reflects consistency and care. During a recent visit, the service began with a less-than-welcoming cashier. Yet the manager’s swift and thoughtful response transformed the encounter, offering the meal with compliments and reaffirming the restaurant’s commitment to hospitality.
With exceptional cuisine, an inviting atmosphere, and leadership that values every guest, Alon’s continues to stand out as a true gem in Phipps Plaza.

Love Alon’s but it’s changed so much since moving from Dunwoody! Location in Phipps is horrible and it’s always overcrowded. The vibe inside of the old location was amazing. Still love the food though

The pastries were dry and the chicken tasted unseasoned. NOT WORTH THE PRICE
