Alon’s Bakery & Market

Was in town for a conference. We stayed at the AC hotel and there conference was at Roam. Everyone else went toward the Lennox Mall and we stumbled upon Alon's as it was perfectly located between our two locations. We went for lunch and the food was so good that we went back for dinner! Food was quick and delicious. I had the quesadilla and the roast beef sandwich - both amazing!

Some of the best pastries around! This store wins in consistency over time. They’re prepared foods make for a great gathering and their pastries and preserves make for great host gifts can’t go wrong here

i ordered online through DoorDash, and the food was awesome! the $18 turkey sandwich was definitely my favorite. the truffle slice was $9 and super rich- i could only handle a couple bites of that one. and it seems they overlooked my chai latte, unfortunately!

Very good the food and the place, the price is little high, but in this mall , is ok , but I recommend this coffee shop, shrimp with vegetables are amazing, the espresso is not good , is cool and very strong, I and expert in espresso, nothing like , Lavazza coffee, Illi coffee, but is ok , the service is good , I recommend this place.

There was dozens of fruit flies all over the croissants, which is the main reason why I came so now I’m on the hunt for another bakery.

I will never come back here. All the food is left out including the salad bar. I couldn’t even get a salad.

My coworkers and I have been loyal customers here for years, but the breakfast service has steadily gone downhill. Despite ordering ahead, our orders are never ready on time. The excuse is always that it’s to “keep the order hot,” but let’s be honest—you can see the moment they realize they forgot it altogether. When people are on their way to work, they don’t have an extra 10 minutes to spare because the staff decided to wait to start the order. It’s frustrating and unreliable. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like there’s any intention to improve this process, so we’ll be finding a new spot for our morning coffee and breakfast.

3.5 stars. Nice space, good baked goods, great great coffee — that’s why I keep coming back.
But the setup? Annoying. You have to order sandwiches at one counter, coffee and pastries at another. Then, even after ordering, you’re sent to yet another person to actually pick up your pastry. Oh and a separate pickup for coffee too if you were wondering. No communication or help between staff, everyone sticks to their station or is on their phone if the place is empty.
Looks great inside otherwise, very French café vibe, but the ordering process feels unnecessarily complicated and disconnected if you just stop in for takeout.

Two times in a row I arrive to my coffee not being made on my to go order. Explanation- they don’t make it until you arrive to keep it hot???? Then why am I ordering ahead? Maybe I am smart enough to order with enough time for me to arrive while my coffee is hot? Absolutely ridiculous while you’re trying to grab your coffee and rush to work. And my question on why my order was not ready was met with looks of I am the ridiculous one and apparently I guess my daily business is not worth an attempt to fix or address the issue. Thankfully there are coffee shops that understand order ahead means the person wants it ready when they arrive.

Went there around 3:30 pm on a Sunday. The bagel was terrible, so stale and dry. The sandwiches also not good. I realize that they were serving the last dregs of the day but they shouldn’t sell terrible food even if near closing. I love the OG location in VaHi so was very disappointed.
