AltaToro is a Latin restaurant that offers reasonably priced meals made to an impressive standard. The food features perfect seasoning that can elevate even simple dishes like burgers and French toast into delightful dining experiences. The restaurant ambiance is beautiful and eclectic, with visuals like a large decorative tree and colorful artwork. Servers and fire dancers were an added bonus, as they were fun and very friendly/helpful. The food was very good, with tasty starters including ceviche with passion fruit sauce, empanadas, guacamole, and the highly praised crispy pork belly with poblano aioli. Excellent main dishes include halibut, herb crusted lamb chops, filet, and a selection of healthy options for vegetarians. Great salads are also available. The host was able to sit guests before their reservation time and was nice and friendly. Guests can choose a salsa to go with each protein, enhancing their meal experience. The menu creator offers great prices, with mimosas at $3 a glass. Guests receive a lot of food for the price, making the brunch buffet worth the $40. Overall, the restaurant appeal is amazing, with a cool vibe, great food, and solid service.
