Real deal barbecue right here. Pulled pork, ribs, jerk wings, collards. All on point!
I parked came inside and ordered. Service was terrible and to top it off my car got towed AT THE PARKING LOT IN FRONT OF THE RESTAURANt. Will never come back here.

My girlfriend and I were looking for some BBQ and came across Anna. We had a disappointing experience with both the service and the food. Instead of a proper greeting, we were told that the fryer and grill were off, so we couldn't order burgers or fries. Although it was close to closing time, this was not a pleasant welcome. We ordered the brisket, rib tips, Mac and cheese, and yams. The Mac and cheese was dry, indicating that it had been sitting out for a while. The yams were cooked unevenly, and the brisket was warm and tasteless, covered in too much sauce. The rib tips were average. We paid nearly $40 for our meal and expected better customer service and fresher food. Anna BBQ seemed like it had been around for a while, but it appeared that they may have lost their touch. I wouldn't recommend this place to my friends or family.

Terrible customer service I walked into an empty restaurant the cashier was sitting down after noticing me she didn't bother to say hello or anything. I asked a question about the menu only thing she did was nod her head to say yes. As a consumer I refuse to give businesses with poor customer service any of my hard-earned money. I simply left. The food could've been good but I'll never find out.
Literally came in today and was greeted with an attitude by the girl who was working the register. Her attitude was so bad I just didn't continue the order and walked out. I understand we all go through stuff but she could have stepped in the back and allow someone to take a few orders until she calm down.
Don't have me waiting 30 minutes and the food come out cold as ice I understand your were an hour before closing but that still doesn't excuse the fact all of the food was cold... I've waited so long to try your restaurant and now I know why. The Brunswick stew would have been great at first taste while hot but I had to warm it up when I got home and the cornbread that goes with it I could have gotten into a fight and used it as a weapon of choice and won. The rib tips was good but to lean give me some fat and make an attempt to be tips not strips. Thanks for the experience less sauce next time but thank you I will not return

Anna’s BBQ in Kirkwood was our favorite spot for years, but sadly it has changed owners and the food has gone downhill. Brisket and ribs were overcooked, tough and dry. Mac & cheese, greens and field peas shockingly had no flavor or seasoning at all. The burgers used to be juicy, fresh and delicious … but lately they’re dry, too well done and flavorless, and oddly came with all bottom buns last time we ordered. We’ve given it a few tries under new ownership, but will stick to the Anna and Cali’s Cafe food truck for the delicious recipes and flavors we loved from the previous owners.
Food is great. Traveled from South Carolina just to try and it was worth it! And being a huge rib tip fan this was perfect
I love Anna’s….It’s my go to when I want soul food. I love their veggies and rib tips. And my sweet tooth ALWAYS wants the peach cobbler. Sometimes I switch it up and get Banana Pudding, either way I’m always satisfied. The customer service is awesome and I never leave without my Arnold Palmer. Love!!!
RIP Anna's BBQ. My goodness, how things have changed. This was one of my favorite local restaurants having lived in the neighborhood for the last 6 years. The family owned vibe, customer service, and food made it feel like a really special place. Sadly, new ownership came in and my most recent experience will absolutely be my last. Here's a recap of my most recent visit: I approach the counter and as I'm about to place my order the woman behind the counter abruptly walks away and towards the front of the restaurant. It's 7:00 PM on a Friday and she decides to turn off the "OPEN" sign. Odd, but whatever. I order the Brisket Tacos. She tells me they're out of tortillas so that's not an option. I ask her if there are any other menu items that they're out of that I should be aware of. She replies "I don't know. Just order and I'll check with the kitchen." Okay, this one is a real charmer. I then order the "Brisket and Rib Plate". Guess what? Well, they're out of the brisket too, it turns out! (At this point, every fiber of my being told me to walk out and find dinner elsewhere but I, like a complete idiot, ignore my gut and order once again). This time I ordered the Ribs & Pulled Pork plate. What showed up on my plate was not fit for human consumption. First off, the cornbread was beyond stale. But as dry as the cornbread was, it paled in comparison to the dryness of the pulled pork. Truly inedible. Mac N Cheese? It was lukewarm, at best, and also inedible. RIP Anna's BBQ. You were loved and I hope one day new ownership gets their act together and pretends to care about their customer service, their food, and their dim future unless major changes are made.

Far from the best bbq in Atlanta! Had to get home and doctor my food up to eat.. we got there about 30 mins before closing time but our food wasn't hot.. the muffins were stale.. the brisket seemed to be under cooked also. For $38, I expect better food! I might give it one more try at a different time of day..
Nachos were pretty good I have some cons about the order the nachos were pretty stale some of them weren't but alot of them were more stale then fresh my wife also told them no tomatoes no lettuce etc and it still was added and then had to wait at least 45 minutes to get your food so if you have to go to work or anything make sure you set aside some time to go to this establishment hopefully the other food taste better the the nachos but we will see
Do yourself a favor, get to this establishment as soon as you can. Your pallet and soul will thank you.. The rib tips, collard greens, baked beans and quarter dark are my absolute show stoppers and drizzled with there bbq sauce is to die for!
Wow, I stopped here to try the BBQ with a friend of mine while we were in the area and we both were glad we did. Owner was really friendly and came over and talked with us for a minute, also the rest of the staff was great. We had a pulled pork sandwich which was lean meat and very tender, also we tried the fried catfish which was also very good. Next time I’m in the area again I will definitely be stopping in for more food. Small seating area inside but plenty of outside seats available, nice small town area to walk around in this neighborhood. I have eaten at many BBQ places over the years and this would be in my top 3 or 4 places for sure. I recommend you give them a try if your anywhere near Anna’s.
My first time to Anna's and I must say the food was good. We had the 1/4 chicken with 2 sides and Texas toast. The bbq sauce was good, not spicy, the chicken was smoked but still juicy, and our sides were big. The price was good we had enough leftovers for a second meal. The greens (collards/cabbage) both seasoned well, the mac' cheese the kid loved it, and the yams were sweet. The plates came with a corn muffin which taste little sweet, but not to much. I'm willing to try some other items on the menu, especially some of the side. The staff was friendly and professional from the phone call to the pickup.
