Service was great, pizza is good as well!
$20 for a 12" pizza that tasted extremely fresh but weighed less than a cheese burger.
This place is pretty small and has a parking lot that wraps around the building. The patrons inside looked happy and are probably regulars.
I was surprised by how small this place is.
I ordered a vegetarian pizza to go. Pizza tasted good. You could tell that every thing was fresh. It weighed basically nothing. I cooked myself some fries after eating the pizza.

The pizza here is solid. A notch below Atlanta standouts like Antico, but still excellent. The ingredients are fresh and there's a good char on the thin crusts.
The physical location isn't the best. There's a lot of jostling and being jostled in the narrow aisles between tables and the bar, and the exposed interior does nothing to dampen the noise, making it less than ideal if you want to hear what your dinner companion has to say.
The service, on the other hand, wasn't great. We may have gone on an off night, but our server was very inattentive. There were long stretches where we wanted another drink, but no one would make eye contact or come over. The appetizer we ordered came out about a minute before our pizzas arrived, which was also less than ideal.

Ordered from this place for the first time a few days ago. Husband got a sausage pizza and I got the meatball sandwich. Gotta say, that was probs the worst meatball sandwich I've ever had. Super thin and tasteless, and the marinara that came with it was even worse. I don't even feel like there was much cheese on it either. Husband said his pizza was just ok. Probs won't be back.
I continue to try this place based on the good reviews however everytime I order the food is mediocre. My last order was a pizza and toppings were sparse and not hot.

Avellino’s is the perfect little neighborhood pizzeria. Their wood fired pizzas have a great char. The Zucchine Fritte were a surprise! The batter was so light and crispy, these are the best starter. The arancini was just ok, the rice filling didn’t have a lot of flavor in my opinion. I’ve definitely had more exciting arancini. The eggplant parmesan was also great though. It had a nice crispy outer layer and the eggplant was sliced so thinly. We also took cannoli to go and those were tasty as well! The service was quick and friendly. The restaurant is a quaint little bar and dining area with a patio area for nice weather days. They do have fans and umbrellas out there for the heat and sun. Parking can be iffy but be sure to check towards the back of the building.

We had to wait 30+ minutes for a table. There was little parking, no waiting area, and the blonde hostess did not treat us very well. Half of the seating was at the bar, and the tables inside were cramped. It was also extremely loud and appeared to cater to people aged 45-70, which isn’t bad - just something to note if you are trying to meet people of a different demographic. Other than that, the food was good, albeit smaller portioned. Definitely need to order appetizers if you want to feel full, but they are somewhat pricey. For example, 3 golf ball-sized meatballs for $11. I would not go again.

Absolutely the best wood-fired pizza in the Brookhaven area! The flavors are outstanding, and the crust is perfectly crisp. The service is top-notch - attentive, friendly, and always eager to ensure a great dining experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a delicious pizza.

Local authentic Italian pizza place, we are lucky to have it in our neighborhood ?! Always busy, inside and out, apparently food is great! There are all kinds of pizzas you die for. Forget about your figures. Must try, at least.
Parking: The parking lot is small, and you might struggle with it on busy days

We recently visited Avellinos pizza and had a mixed experience. The food was decent, and the server was great—attentive and friendly. However, I was shocked by the price of the kids' pasta: $14 for a small portion that didn’t include a drink or dessert. To make matters worse, there was no kids' menu to review, and the server didn't mention the pricing beforehand. I've never encountered such an overpriced kids' meal. Unfortunately, this place isn’t family-friendly for a casual weeknight meal. I won’t be coming back and wouldn’t recommend it to others with kids.

BEWARE OF KIDS MENUS. First off, our server Iris was amazing. Friendly and efficient.
We asked if they do kids food and they said they do, but it's not on the menu. We ordered kids penne with pink sauce, a kid's spaghetti with pink sauce and two pizzas for the adults.
All tasted good to great. We live around the corner and just dont visit often so we said we must come back more often.
Then we got the bill. $14 for a tiny kid's pasta? (So $28 for both)! No drink or dessert included. This is just a rip-off. No wonder it's not on the menu!
Come on, adult pizza $15, adult pasta $15.. That's fair, but not a small pasta dish. My 9 year old daughter was still hungry. A quick, casual Tuesday meal for 2 adults, 2 kid's was over $90 (with one wine) once you include tip (not Iris's fault, although she could have warned us).
Kid-friendliness: Unfairly high prices mean it's not kid friendly.

We’ve been in Brookhaven/North ATL for 6 months now, and we finally found our go to spot. Everything we got tonight was amazing and we can’t wait to come back!
Best Bruschetta we’ve had in ATL. The Chicken Caprese Sandwhich was perfect too!
