Great night out with friends. The drinks were excellent, the food was great, and the service was on-point.
This was our first visit—every other time we've tried to come, it's been too packed, so we were glad to find a table. The service was spot-on even when the crowds came. We enjoyed the tuna tacos, queso/guac, a special watermelon feta salad and bulgogi taco. The barbacoa taco was good, but missing something. Margaritas could use a little less ice. Otherwise a very good meal! Will be back!
I have been to Bar.bacoa on multiple occasions but this visit, the food was exceptional! The had a strawberry arugula salad that was out of this world. It was what I didn't know I needed and boy did it deliver! Next up, the ceviche was perfection as always. Nothing could have ended the meal as perfectly as the tres leche. It was smooth and creamy and just the right way to end my delicious meal.
Every item was delicious! Food came out quickly and at perfect temperature. Great for happy hour.

I love the neighborhood vibe, and the staff was so accommodating. First, the reservation time changed, then the number of guests. They took total care of us. Great job! Flavorful drinks, delicious fresh food.
Food, drinks, and service were phenomenal!! Thalius (hope I spelled that right!) was amazing! So attentive, personable, and made excellent drinks! The food was delicious! We got Brussel sprouts, skillet queso (omg!), trailer park taco, chicken quesadilla, and key lime pie. It was all excellent! Highly recommend!

This was our first visit to Bar.bacoa, and we had excellent service and the food was wonderful. My only disappointment was with where our table was located, which was directly in front of the bathroom and where the servers were eating after their shift, and doing side work. As a family we don't eat out much, so this did kind of kill the vibe of a night out when there were plenty of other tables available not so close to the bathroom and people starting to break down the evening. We appreciate all the hard work of servers, but maybe don't seat a table of patrons right there where everyone is clearly waiting to get off shift and eat... it did make us feel a little rushed. Other than that we loved every aspect, food was very tasty, drinks were great! We would have even been happy outside on the patio.. we will definitely go back!
An unassuming tucked away Mexican restaurant that I wish I had found sooner. The food came out super quick, the staff were great and the price was half of what I expected of a place with food and service like this. I’ll definitely be back. I was very impressed.

The food was good, not great. First time going yo the restaurant. It was VERY VERY loud. We could barely have a conversation it was so loud. Service was ok but server disappeared a couple of times. Probably will not be returning.

The food was very good and it was in a cute part of town. I loved the barbacoa and Korean tacos plus the Spanish potatoes that I got. They were sooooo good. The meat was so flavorful and the potatoes were so crispy. I also loved the sauce that came with the potatoes.
I didn’t care for my house margarita. It wasn’t very good. I also thought the staff was not very friendly. My server at least checked on me and made sure I was ok.

I’ve been here twice and it’s consistently good in respect to both food and margaritas. They had vegetarian options for my friends who are diet restricted. Get the spicy margarita and the carnitas tacos. The barbacoa nachos are good too!
