OUTSTANDING CHICAGO TAVERN STYLE PIZZA!!!! There’s no other like this in the ATL area. Order or get there early because they get very busy and they could possibly sell out or get so many orders that the wait times get long.
Growing up in the south burbs with J&Bs and Aurelio’s (original) within 2 miles of our house I thought all pizza tasted like those places. Once outside our bubble I realized we had something special and unique to our area. I moved to Tennessee and eventually Georgia and miss the pizza I grew up on. Bertolozi’s is getting it right. Bertolozi's Pizzeria serves tremendous pizza, especially thin and crispy ones with perfectly charred edges. The "Laura" and "Joyce" are highly recommended, with the "Joyce" being amazing and having the best thin crust. The pizza has a great tavern style, similar to those found in Chicago. The restaurant also serves a great beef sandwich and Chicago dog. The service is friendly and fast, with the owner being honest, hard working, and passionate about pizza. The staff is extremely friendly and passionate about the restaurant's recipes. The food is fantastic, with the "George" and Caesar salad also being great options. Bertolozi's Pizzeria is a great place to try authentic Chicago pizza, with many considering it their favorite in Atlanta.
