Boru Boru consistently delivers! I work in the area, so I've been a frequent customer for years. Their menu is very manageable and allows customizable options. I also appreciate the quality and variety of food options as a non-pork consumer. The staff and the owner, Rome, are always very friendly and timely with my order. They are by far the best at what they deliver!

I ordered the ribeye burrito with brown rice and thoroughly enjoyed the meal, though messy. I do recommend ordering ahead as we waited nearly 45 minutes for our food. We ordered at 12:21 and got our food at 1:04. The inside needs a little love, the beverage machine is broken and the tables were sticky. I have to assume the wait was mostly due to the fact that there was one cook working the lunch rush. It may be prudent to bring on a second cook for the prime lunch hours.

I order the OC every time and it's exceptional! The tuna is fresh, and the shrimp are delicious. All of the veggies in the bowl are crisp and tasty, and the sauce is awesome. Highly recommend!

I love eating here. It’s probably my favorite poke place. I assume a lot of the employees either go to school at Emory or live very close by as it’s almost always the same 5 ish people who are in the store. While their boba selection could be a bit wider in range, the range for the ingredients in the “build your own” poke are amazing. As a vegetarian, I appreciate the fact that the tofu is not dry like another poke place I have been to. I do think that they could update their cards they use though. They have mentioned that the corn they use is not in fact vegan even though it is listed on the card to be.It could put someone in danger and they could risk possible legal trouble if that doesn’t get updated… unless they have gone back to making the corn fully vegan.Another note is that it could possibly have more decorations or such on the walls or little pieces on the tables to make it a little more lively.All in all, it’s a really cute place.

I tried the muscle man burrito, which was a cool concept that didn’t land with me unfortunately. The quality was alright, but I would definitely recommend just getting a poke bowl instead as the burritos are extremely expensive. Overall not a bad poke spot.
