The Point Reviews
We hoped for breakfast, and arrived to realize they stop serving at 10:30 am. We were already seated, and had to pivot our tastebuds. We decided on the Reuben, and a Pastrami/Matzoh soup combo. The Reuben was perfect, in every way. The pastrami was excellent! We discovered, we may be the only NON fans of matzoh ball soup. As the lunch crowd started to arrive, we could see the vibe transform from calm to bustling busy. The service was top notch, and we would return for just such!
Attractive restaurant with excellent service. We each got a reuben and split an order of poutine. We'd go back for the poutine but would probably order something other than another reuben. The reuben was good, but not great. The corned beef didn't have as much flavor as we would have liked. It's on the pricey side, so I was expecting more. The portions were fine and we both took home half a reuben.

General Muir continues to exceed expectations. I recently satisfied a serious pastrami craving, and once again, they delivered perfection. The pastrami was incredibly flavorful, tender, and juicy, nestled perfectly between slices of impeccable bread. The touch of mustard was just right, and the pickle was simply delightful. General Muir has maintained its exceptional quality and consistency, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit.
