I am from Leesburg , Florida and have been in Atlanta for heart surgery at Emory University Hospital for 6 days have eaten since being released from the hospital this week and have eaten lunch at the General Muir at Emory Point twice since my release from the hospital. I remember being one of those people who believed that I should stay away from bread and pastas. Where that came from? I'll never know. But man, am I glad that I'm over that phase in life because I'm pretty sure I won't ever return to those dark days after having my first loaf from TGM.I've thoroughly enjoyed The General Muir on a number of occasions but only had a sandwich once. Oh, wow. Their breads are awesome, & sell out quickly. Best to call ahead & place an order, to be sure of getting what you want. They make some of the best sourdough bread I’ve ever eaten, & hubby raves about the rye bread.I haven’t had their soups, but they must be good too, based on the number of people buying them.TGM also has a booth at the St. Philips/Peachtree Rd Farmer’s Market on Saturday mornings—generally March thru Nov.
