“I have passed this place couple times before and wanted to stop by. I had seen the Biang Biang noodle trending on TikTok, so I was curious to try it. It was worth the visit! !

As a vegetarian, I was a little nervous about finding options, but shout-out to Andy, who was really helpful even when things were busy. He guided me through the vegetarian options. He suggested the stir-fried eggs and tomato soup noodles, which was an absolutely stellar choice. The soup was a perfect balance of savory and umami. There was the tartness from the tomatoes and a creamy richness from the eggs. Now for what I came for, the noodles. They were chewy and wide, unlike anything I’m used to. But, absolutely delicious. Also, as a texture girl, the addition of bean sprouts and green onions was a good one.

Good amount of variety for other vegetarian options on the menu, including cold skin noodles, a veggie burger, cucumber salad, and spring rolls (and more)

I will say the restaurant does have a small seating area. It was incredibly busy when I arrived. So, if you are dining in, wait times can be a little long. I ended up waiting about 25 minutes for a table and another 15-20 for my food. I will say the seating waitlist order was a little confusing as a family who arrived after me was seated first.

Overall, I would recommend this spot! They do not skimp on portion sizes, so I had to leave with takeout for sure 🤗.“

“We went at kind of an off time of day and enjoyed fast and friendly service and a delicious meal. The kiddo I was dining with was able to get some of their wiggles out in the empty dining room as the other customers were dining outside and enjoying the weather. It was a great experience!“

“The food here is absolutely amazing! The vibe is both relaxing and welcoming — a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy some seriously good eats. My top favorites are the Oxtail Sliders (the meat literally slides off the bone!) and the Caribbean Jerk Sliders, packed with flavor and just the right amount of spice. Honestly, I’ve tried every single item on the menu, and there hasn’t been one I didn’t love. You can tell they put care into every dish. “This is a great hole in the wall spot in Downtown! I stopped in to grab a bite before a show at State Farm Area. It's a one man show with the same guy taking your order and making it right in front of you. It's quick service but the quality is spot on. I had one of the best philly cheesesteaks ever! (including my visits to Philadelphia). The prices are comparable to the area.“

“I have always loved the Varsity. When we were there Tuesday afternoon it was not crowded at all. We got our food within 2 minutes after ordering. We got chili dogs ,slaw dogs, chili burger and onion rings. I had to get my frosted orange ! It was sooo good! The room we choose to sit in was very clean with tv on. My son, his wife and myself sat and enjoyed a great meal before having to get into afternoon Atlanta traffic going outbound. Traffic nightmare, but, food so worth it. No problem parking. They no longer have car ordering, so you must walk inside. Pricing was good for 3 adults to eat and enjoy.“

Had some coffee and an Avocado toast (probably one of the tastiest and nicest presentation I’ve ever seen). My waitress, Jada, was absolutely lovely, kind and warm. “Food was amazing. The service was lacking, sadly. We waited at the host stand for several minutes before anyone acknowledged we were there. The restaurant was empty, with the exception of one other table of two. When we were finally acknowledged and seated, the hostess/waitress seemed bothered that we were there and barely spoke to our party as she seated us. The music was very loud, so she might have said something important, but we definitely did not hear it. She did not mention or ask about our reservation. As other diners and food couriers started arriving, they also had to wait several minutes at the host stand before being acknowledged - the hostess kept disappearing into the back. She definitely was not customer service focused. As I mentioned, the food was great. Sadly we won't visit this location again. If we try Emmy's again, it'll be at another ATL location.“

“Outside dining is great. Tables aren't cleaned nearly enough or well. You'll enjoy seeing artsy people. Many are friendly. Service isn't wow, but decent. The fish and chip, loved the batter and the tenderness of the fish. I was not pleased with the one small cup of tartar sauce. I had to pay a dollar for it.“

It works and is NOT like the front row of a movie theater. Our Bartender was Taylor, a pretty young lady. She made our drinks and asked if we wanted food. The drinks were tasty and made quickly. I tried the 'Baos' my friend ordered and they were delicious as well. We were there until game time, then it was a quick walk (about 50ft) across the door into the stadium. Taylor took care of us the whole time and checked on us consistently. Previously, I've had bad service there, so I don't come very often. Due to this experience I will return sooner. “I recently stumbled upon this amazing local restaurant that I can't stop raving about it! From the moment I walked in, the friendly vibes made it welcoming. And let me tell you, their cheeseburgers, fries, shakes, and wings are to die for!The cheeseburgers were out of this world! Juicy, flavorful patties with melted cheese and perfectly toasted buns. Each bite was perfect! And those fries, oh my! Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and seasoned just right. They were the ultimate sidekick to the delicious burgers.But the real showstopper was their milkshakes. Creamy, thick, and absolutely delicious. I got the classic chocolate to but they had a shake for every craving. I also tried the wings which were so flavorful and saucy.One more thing to love about this place is the friendly staff. “As you can imagine, I was in the mood for trying a new restaurant and stumbled across Manny’s via my Yelp Search. Manny sits in a neighborhood so there is street parking as well as they offer a few parking spaces in the back of the restaurant. When you walk up, you are pulled in by the intimacy of the “neighborhood bar” feel you can see through the all glass front. The location is huge and offers a main and sun main entrance door. Entering through the main entrance, you get to experience a full snapshot of the vibe. With tables in the front and the bar towards the back right, you are instantly caught up in the energy that radiates from the patrons. We decided to sit in the small area near the sub main entrance as it offered a more eat and unwind tone. As you seat yourself, it was a few minutes before the waitress arrived at our table. Once she arrived she greeted the table and welcomed us to Manny’s. She immediately took our drink orders and advised she would return shortly. As we awaited her return, I looked around the room to see if there were any menus and there were not. When the waitress arrived with our drinks she inquired if we were ready to order… Me: “Can you provide us with the menu as we may take a look?” Waitress: “It’s a QR Code!” Me: “Can we get the QR Code?” Upon me asking for the QR code she realized we didn’t have one in our table. She proceeded to one of the back tables and returned with the QR Code. I decided on the Candy Andy burger with a Side Caesar Salad. My meal was an absolute delight. The lettuce was fresh. The Caesar dressing was very tasty and super creamy. I wouldn’t be surprised if I found out it was homemade as it was truly a flavor-rific experience. LoL!! The Burger was soooooooo good. With a “Smash Burger” base, the Candy Andy is a perfect play of Sweet and Salty. The well seasoned, perfectly done, super moist burger pairs perfectly with the caramelized onions that sit on top of it and becomes engaged to the candied bacon that tops the burger. Oh my goodness! I don’t know what foodie ninja came up with this killer mix of burger joy, however, they did an amazing job. This burger is an absolute 10 out of 10 for me and is so good that I will be back to indulge in one again soon. If you find yourself in the area and desire a neighborhood gem with a nice vibe and great food, make sure to stop by Manny’s and enjoy the experience. P. S.
